One of the nicest beaches. We took a short walk here. The sand was firm, and white, and nice for walking.

It was not a very busy beach.

Found this place by surprise while roaming around this island and then found cool looking entrance and we decide to stop in.
They have build into historicle place for great photo session best to rent their costume and take photo really worth it.
Also one of the exhibition building have such a cozy atmosphear if they turn this place into actual wine bar or bistro for lunch surely we will score 5!

Going around and through the villages nearby Nathon town (where the ferry terminal is located) we ran into this lovely and pretty magnificent Thai Buddhist Temple.

The building is gorgeous and shows the care and workmanship from the villagers.

    Grounds were also well maintained.

My wife and I visited the falls with our 2 year old daughter. We are vehemently against animal cruelty (vegan family) so we did not want to have to support one of the animal parks in order to see a waterfall. The reviews of the elephants and tigers in the animal parks was sad to read.

This waterfall is on the public road making it easy to get to. It is by no means the most impressive falls (more like a big boulder down which water cascades on a series of small pools but it is pretty and tranquil. We played in the rock pools with my daughter for a few hours. The rocks do get slippery though and we saw another tourist land on his back in a rock pool while trying to make his way across the boulders which looked rather painful.

Worth a quick 30 min visit if in the vicinity otherwise save it for another day.

I did not visit that horrible place. After making some research I conclude that this place does not care about the wellbeing of the animals. The best place to watch monkeys is in the nature and the wild where they belong.

We booked this trip whilst on honeymoon as my husband has always had it on his bucket list. It was a fabulous, breathtaking experience that we will never forget. Our guide, Ing, is a wonderful, friendly, funny, knowledgeable lady and it was a pleasure to spend the morning with her. All the staff here are passionate about their jobs and you can see it when they’re explaining their role. Their work is so Important and to take part in that in some small way was humbling. We made power balls and fed them to the Elephants then fed them again from the treetops skywalk which is so accessible for all ages and abilities. Cannot rate this fabulous place highly enough.

I truly enjoyed my visit and meeting Eve. I would highly recommend visiting the retreat.
I have received a very warm welcome. I am very grateful to Eve and Klaus for everything. I felt like the weight was lifted of my shoulders. I will most definitely be coming back, only stayed for 3 days, but it was so worth it! It was very empowering, unique experience for me. Thanks Eve & Klaus! xx

Was a poor choice on my part for my parents (aged 70) and I. Dad sat in the passenger seat of the cab for the day, thank you Major Safari for accommodating him. Mum had to hold on to the rails all day long, with uncomfortable seats and back rests which was tough going.

That aside - 3 major areas people should be aware of -
The tour is really rushed with only about 15-20mins per stop.
The buffet lunch is not satisfactory for the $60-70 odd dollars you’re paying. Bring your own snacks none are provided.
The elephant park for Major Safari didn’t look like it complied with Tourism Thailand requirements.

My recommendation for 3 people looking for comfort and to set your own pace is to book a private car ($120 for 6 hrs we booked the following day).

Great crew, fantastic boats, wonderful place for kids to learn to sail! English, Thai and French spoken, friendly staff. Paddle boards, day trips, a lovely place to explore around Samui and neighboring islands. Check it out!

We booked on for a morning on the quad bikes followed by elephant trekking and then a visit to the waterfall. We found the quad biking to be fun and had a laugh however when we arrived to do the elephant trekking we instantly didn't feel right as the animals did not seem happy and we're forced to walk around a small track where we could see a number of chains. We felt incredibly guilty and would not do it again as it is evident that the money they recieve does not go on the animals. The waterfall was nice (although not much water as we went in june) however we were rushed. We wouldn't recommend this tour as it felt to us like it was all about making money rather than animal welfare.
