My dad met us in the park later on that day my only concern is he wasn’t queried why he was buying 1 adult ticket in to a children’s adventure park, my dad was could of been anyone it’s not a nice thought.
We have had a lovely time today though best advice I can give is to get there when it opens , by 2pm it’s packed queue for everywhere ridiculously busy .
Staff a lot more friendlier then when we came last summer

The helicopter museum is amazing. For the size of the museum, there are a huge number of helicopters dating back to WW2. I found it really interesting to see the development of the aircraft through the years.

I would say, with most museums, it is very history driven, so younger children may get bored, but my hubby & I found it amazing.

We went on a cold rainy day, so it was a great way to spend a couple of hours.

The museum was really cold, so wrap up warm

When I left it was a nice enough day, but started to rain as I got to Weston. The pier seemed a good place to go as it’s partly covered. It has a long walk up to the end. There’s a lot of slot machines and two penny shoves, kept me busy for a while. First floor has a restaurant and a shop. Bumper car ride too. I had a nice coffee in the cafe which looks out to the sea. Only drawback is parking, can turn out expensive.

Myself & my wife went WSM for the first time on the 18th January, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A lovely two miles beach esplanade to walk, plenty of lovely coffee shops to stop at. We stayed at the Grand Atlantic Hotel which is an old hotel but both the ground floor / reception area and restaurant being modernised. A lovely well catered for breakfast. We enjoyed the lively bars and restaurants on the sea front and in the town centre, definitely recommend the Bistro Pierre and very nice French restaurant on the sea front. We will be going back to WSM again.

If you are into mountain biking, there’s one of the UKs best dirt jump parks next to the beach. But cycling aside, sandbay beach is vast, flat and usually empty. If you want to avoid people, let your dog run free, or have a refreshing windy seaside walk - sand bay is the one. There’s not really any facilities there, a cafe and I think a fish and chip shop. But there’s loads in nearby Weston super mare and kewstoke if that’s what you’re after anyway.

The museum is situated centrally in Weston super Mare and is just under half a mile from the railway station on foot.

It is housed in a modern building over two floors. A lift is available for those with mobility issues.

The museum traces the history of the town from ancient times to current day.

There are many fossils and local natural history exhibits on show.

I liked the local art particularly those which featured nearby island Steep Holm.

Both World Wars are portrayed and the town was subject to heavy bombing in June 1942 when over 100 civilians lost their lives.

There is an interesting current exhibition ruining until 13 April 2024 called “Adventures in Time and Space. 60 Years of Doctor Who Art”.

This is a fascinating exhibition tracing Doctor Who over the years from William Hartnell to Ncuti Gatwa.

There is also a decent cafe on site providing a range of beverages and snacks.

Admission is free and the museum is closed to n Sunday and Monday.

Met very early at the harbour in Weston-Super-Mare. The journey is by a very fast rib boat and only takes about 15 minutes. The steep, pebble beach leads to a path up a very steep hill to the Barracks. On the way I saw nesting gulls, henbane plants and hoards of lackey months. The Barracks is a very comfortable place to stop occasionally for tea, coffee and if you are lucky homemade cake and at the end of the day a glass of wine or beer. I enjoyed looking at the gifts for sale on the souvenir counter. The walk around the top of the island takes about 45 minutes and passes Victorian and Second World War military buildings. Many of these can be entered (a torch can be hired from The Barracks). On the cliffs are nesting cormorants - the largest colony in the South West. You will pass many more nesting gulls which can be a bit aggressive as they are protecting their eggs or hatched young - just use an umbrella (hired from The Barracks) to stop the gulls dive bombing you. The weather was perfect. At the end of the day I returned to the beach for the short rib boat ride back to Weston -Super-Mare. A really lovely, relaxing day out.

An amazing view, it’s great on a sunny day even in winter. Did some crabbing but was a bit windy. We will have to go back for it

Had a lovely breezy walk around and up to the top by the church and tower. The views from up there were beautiful.

My daughter and i loved this park whilst on holiday in weston. Great place to visit, especially on a hot day, as you can cool right down. The only let down was the fact that the zip wire was broken.

Went to see Jill’s garden as visiting Weston super mare. Big clean park with lots of gardeners hard at work.saw a wild fox and lots of friendly squirrels.Jill’s garden signposted as you go up the steps turn right as I almost missed it as slightly overgrown.sadly 1 wooden seat Brocken and all charity boxes rusted and not in use. The info board has been damaged but saying this it was a calm, quiet and a good location for the garden.A lovely park for a summer picnic.

We needed a venue very last minute and Lauren and her team did not disappoint, they went above and beyond to help and support however they could in anyway possible. Lauren was so lovely and you can see that she takes great pride in her role whilst delivering such a high standard of customer service and attention to detail.

Special thanks to Lauren, Emma and Jack who helped us throughout our planning and also at the event, the 3 of you are real assets to the company and they are so lucky to have you.

I couldn't recommend Winter Gardens highly enough, its such a stunning venue which allows for all different types of gatherings, with such a selection of different areas to hire.

We will definitely be returning and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
