The ride is in the hills high above Paphos, so great views, lovely countryside and Lia timed our ride to perfection for a wonderful sunset to complete the evening.
Our guide Cleo was fantastic, a short intro lesson followed by a great safari for my husband and I. Some interesting terrain and sights and a chance to get up some speed in the football field if you wanted to try!
Originally a monastery, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a complex of three churches - Ioannis Lampadistis, Agios Irakleidios and a Latin chapel - all under a single, enormous timber roof.
The booklet published in 2008 by the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation in collaboration with the Holy Bishopric of Morphou is a great souvenir of this fascinating site.

Emira Pottery Larnaca
A bit off the track from the popular Larnaca, this shop/workshop is a gem! Pottery is made on site and you can visit as they work there and get a chit chat with the friendly owner!
Non impressive outside view hides a treasure behind the front door.
There is a souvenir shop on site which sells beautiful icons and you can even grab a coffee there.
Tentative UNESCO World Heritage Site
Wonderful church lit up at night - very attractive - respectful dress code request as it is a holy site - close to beach and hotels - great ambience, very historical
Among the major objectives of Larnaca will be one of the most important holy sites in Greece, the Church of St. Lazarus, patron saint of the city of Larnaca.Saint Lazarus Church is a place of worship for Orthodox...
