Bring waterproof clothes! At 71 we were challenged with the glacier hike but the Holy Man guide led us safely. I thoroughly recommend the tour to everyone - great fun to be had on the snowmobiles, interesting sites to see, delicious lunch and finished off with a relaxing time in the Secret Lagoon.

Askir was an amazing guide with so much knowledge and he took us to see some incredible spots in Iceland! Arranged by Morty Siegel, Iceland Travel Specialist at Lets Go To Iceland, and curated by the incredible team at Norse Adventures-Guided Hiking in Iceland, this trip was nothing short of spectacular from start to finish.
A huge part of what made the experience so unforgettable was our outstanding guide, Arni. He catered to our every need with such care and attention to detail, making sure each day was better than the last. Not only was Arni incredibly knowledgeable about the history, geology, weather, and culture of Iceland, but he also had a fantastic sense of humor that kept us entertained throughout the entire journey. His stories and insights truly brought Iceland and Norse mythology and history to life for us.
The hiking trails we explored were breathtaking, each one offering awe-inspiring landscapes that seemed to top the last. Arni knew the perfect spots, away from the crowds, to experience the raw beauty of Iceland. Whether it was towering waterfalls, expansive glaciers, or vast, rugged terrain, every hike felt like a new adventure. Hiking in the “Highlands” was like experiencing “Middle Earth”.
Arni’s punctuality and exceptional driving skills also stood out—he navigated Iceland’s sometimes challenging roads with ease, always making us feel safe and well taken care of.
If you’re considering a hiking trip to Iceland, look no further than Norse Adventures. Their professionalism, passion, and expertise truly shine through in every aspect of the journey. We visited Hvammsvik and the Golden Circle. The tours really added to our Icelandic experience.
