- Natalie S3 contributionsWe met the driver previously when he drove us from the airport to our hotel and included a lovely tour of the City highlights. We left something in the hotel that he graciously picked up for us. My husband has some mobility issues and again, Deyan graciously assisted him to see the extraordinary sites, making sure he was steady. This tour was the highlight of my grandson's trip. Hearing about how each destination received its name and other bits of Icelandic Folklore truly added to the experience. - Viness Lim1 contributionHighly recommend this tour if you planning to visit Iceland. Jens, one of the owner of this company is an understanding, responsible, professional and knowledgeable guide. We have joined the aurora and glacier tour in Feb 2020 and it was an unforgettable experience in my life. Just 3 of us in the group, like engaged a private tour. Jens will share the history of Iceland throughout the journey. Sometimes, he might be a bit quiet, but he will be able to answer every question and share the tips with you. Breakfast and dinner were included in the tour and he will stop along the way in town for us to grab the lunch. Breakfast is in buffet style and dinner prepared by the Farmhouse/Guesthouse was really really delicious! The Farm stay and guesthouse were cozy with nice view. - Amelia HoldenLondon, Canada29 contributionsThor, the Guide of Thunder!! And laughter 😆 From the moment we got on the bus at 8:30am until 8pm that evening he had us in tears from the jokes and stories. Personable is an understatement, Thor’s personality is warm, soulful, and authentically kind.
Thor also hums along to the great playlist he created for our pleasure. The music mimics the vibe of the experience you will be enjoying. He has great history of both the land and some troll 🧌 stories thrown in for fun.
He knew all the “hot spots” as he is a local born and raised on the peninsula with his family history dating back to the 1800’s!! If you book with Thor you’ll be is safe and capable hands.
