Great trip! The guide was very knowledgeable and all the staff were great. We even seen 6 humpback whales!! We also had the option of getting the photos the guide had taken of the whales emailed to us for free! This was great as I could enjoy the whale watching without having to be on my phone trying to get pictures!

We went on this northern lights boat trip with elding as we had been on one of their whale watching trips.
The northern lights were not that strong when we went but we did see them and they were good...nice to see the reflections in the water.
    The staff were very helpful

We had a fantastic afternoon on the yacht with Harpa Yachts. We saw an absolutely beautiful humpback whale doing it's thing in the water and I completely fell in love. I have never been whale watching before despite loving sea mammals all my life and this was a wonderful way to finally see one. They didn't use the sonars as they don't want to interrupt the animals communication which I did think was a nice touch. The yacht was clean, tidy and the staff were fab. If I get to experience the gorgeous Iceland again I will be happy to go back with Harpa Yachts.

I can concur with the reviews on here. It is highly recommended. It might be a long day but well worth it. Not that I have a problem, but toilet/refreshment breaks are well planned/timed. With the first break at the supermarket/bakery nice and early and in daylight.

All the stops are interesting in their own way. My highlight being the Secret Lagoon, I never thought I would get in a thermal spring pool, but I'm so glad I did (they do provide swimwear and a bathing towel at a cost of course), I thought I'd freeze and that put me off, but no, I even walked around the outside of the pool and viewed the thermal springs in my swim shorts, Fantastic eperience.

Also the Geyser at Strokkur. With frequent erruptions. It is a popular spot with many tourists, but I had time to watch film the activity as well as going to the restaurant.

    The timings are pretty good.

Asa (guide) and Loukas (driver) were great hosts and happy to impat their knowledge. Top job.

Considering I was a little bit hesitant about going, I need't have been.

Don't think twice about booking it, you won't regret it. Just make sure you have good outdoor footwear.

I had an amazing time! I was worried we might not see any whales, but figured the thrill of speeding out to sea on the boat would still make the trip worthwhile. Fortunately, we ended up seeing two humpback whales, followed by a solo one, and then three together. It was an unforgettable experience. The boat got close enough for us to really take it all in—it’s something I’ve never witnessed before. After more exploring, a dolphin started swimming alongside the boat, staying with us for a while. It was incredible and made the whole trip absolutely worth it. The tour guide shared some interesting facts but also gave us space to fully appreciate these magnificent creatures.

    Not serious company
They show on tripadvisor tours with a boat the harpa, very fashion then they say you that there are some engine problems and very close to departure they send you a mail... and you only have to acept.

Seriously great energy from the crew.
They have the other operators in communication to help increase chances of seeing whales.
Didnt even have to keave the harbour before we started seeing whales, there were a handful of humpbacks which according to the guide was out of character fornthis oeriod of the year, they're normally further out.
    Boat was smooth and comfortable.
Onboard bar and hot drinks at additional cost.
It was great fun and I'd definitely go again.
Only minor gripe the meetup point wasn't 100% clear on maps (turned out to be inside the pub).

We were booked on this two-part trip. Unfortunately we received a call in the morning to say that the whale-watching trip on that day was cancelled due to weather, but it was re-booked for another day. The Northern Lights trip did go ahead and the trip was as good as we could have expected in the circumstances. The boat was large with all the facilities you would expect, plus warm body-suits were available to allow us to stay on deck if desired without getting frozen. We did get to see the lights, although it was only for the last 30 minutes of the trip and they were fairly underwhelming in all honesty. Obviously that’s not the fault of the tour company, but it did mean we needed to book additional trips on subsequent nights to try and see a better show, as having technically seen the lights on our booked trip, we couldn’t take advantage of the offer of additional free trips should the lights not appear.

The postponed whale watching trip was also cancelled due to weather, but when requested, we did received a partial refund on the tour cost, as we were unable to do the whale-watching before the end of our trip.

Tour guides and staff were friendly and accommodating. We were offered overalls in case you didn’t bring waterproof pants and jackets. Our tour was considered “rough” due to 20-30min winds and gusts up to 40mph. I pregamed with a meclizine 24 hours prior to the trip and then again 3 hours prior and did not get sea sick. They do offer the pills there free of charge but it won’t do much since it takes 30-60min min to work in my opinion. So if the weather forecast is looking rough, pregame with meclizine ahead of time. We saw some porpoises but no whales. Disappointing but not the captains fault. Overall good trip.

We toured the lagoon and diamond beach with Reynkjavik excursions and had a good time there. The only downside was the sky get dark early during Oct, we are unable to see the Seljalandsfoss fall & black beach clearly. However, we managed to see the northern light on our way back!! Thanks to our lovely guide, Kris & driver. They were brilliant!

Amazing adventure. Windy, rainy and choppy journey to find the sea life. The guide was informative and very patient. Soon we saw lots of white-beaked dolphins gambolling in the waves. Then just as we were about to turn back to port a beautiful humpback whale put in a show for us. For about 20 mins we were treated to an amazing display by whale and dolphins. Fantastic work experience!

An absolutely incredible, once in a lifetime experience. The boat is very comfortable and the staff are incredible, nothing felt like too much on either of the boat trips. They even supplied anti-sickness tablets for my wife, I would highly recommend everyone going to Iceland take part in this.

Great tour. Saw so many stunning sights including the Northern Lights. Our guide Sindri was fantastic and constantly shared stories to keep us entertained during the drives. The trip was a bit impacted by the weather but overall we had a fantastic time.

We went out in very cold and choppy waters, but the company provided seasickness tablets for you to take prior to boarding, and I have to say they worked!

We were a little disappointed that conditions meant that although we did see two whales, we did not see much of them at all. The first whale we were chasing out to see and then the captain suddenly decided to leave that one because of the choppy waters.

The minky whale we saw next didn't really show very much, but it was still an awesome experience.

My only negative was that upon the return journey back to the port, the waves were so choppy that my husband fell to his knees, which scared me considerably as the boat really listed to the side.

Fun way of seeing the northern lights, there must have been only around 10 of us on our tour. We saw them the 1st night. Lots of bar option, hot & cold, soft and alcoholic. We had hot chocolates to warm ourselves up. We sat outside at the front of the boat the entire time (it was freezing even tho we dressed very warmly, so dress warmer than you think you’ll need). It also helps with sickness.
Would definitely recommend, but probably wouldn’t personally do it again as the boat rocked a little (obviously) so the pictures didn’t come out as clear as I’d have liked!
