We booked this tour to learn more about Iceland’s history and help with getting our bearings around the centre of Reykjavik.

Our guide was Stefan I who was very friendly, fun & engaging. Stefan told us so many interesting stories and facts about locations on our walk.

We were a small group of three couples and Stefan made sure to involve everyone as well taking an interest in what everyone was doing/were going to do during their stay whilst also providing some of his own recommendations.

This is a nice and fun introduction to Reykjavik!

Despite challenging weather ( very high winds and rain) our driver / guide Salvi demonstrated phenomenal driving skills! He was able to not only provide us with a safe ride but also shared fascinating information on the country of Iceland! The 19 passenger minibus is an additional incentive as the small group was far more enjoyable than large bus tours. The scenery along the lengthy ride is breathtaking. Our stop at Arnarstapi with its spectacular sea cliffs and natural bridge was a true highlight! Likewise, Djupalonssandur beach was haughtily beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour as it is packed with amazing sites and if you can go with Salvi that is an added bonus!

I really wanted to see the Northern Lights, so I researched extensively before booking a tour to try to maximize the chances. I chose Siggi as he seemed to have the most success and was definitely not disappointed. His tour last five hours from 9p-2am which is a lot longer than the other tours (others called it quits around 12am) and the Northern Lights really brightened the sky at 1 am on our tour. Siggi is very passionate about what he does and very knowledgeable. He takes amazing photos for you also. Highly recommend him!

Sadly we didn’t get to see the aurora while we were there, simply due to cloud coverage and rainy weather. This is no fault of the company, September is just not the best month for viewing it. Next trip, I would book with them again, just at a different travel month.

It was a very safe flight. There is no eruption anymore but we got to see the red glow cracks from the slightly solid lava. Once in a life time experience. I would highly recommend.

Staff were very helpful and sweet.
It was really wonderful how close we got to dolphins, birds, and humpback whales!

The speed boat was also really exciting. Although 3/12 of the passengers did get nauseous (not us). Would recommend bringing something for nausea if you get motion sickness. Just in case!

    I totally recommend!!!

Fantastic outing. Geologist France, our guide, is incredible knowledgeable offering much insight into the volcanic eruptions, rocks lava fields we walked through. We learned so much and had a great time.

Don't be deterred by the unpredictable weather. These sweet horses and Sólhestar's amazing staff will deliver a satisfying experience, whatever the weather. It has been one of our favorite Iceland experiences!

The Whale Watching Cruise was so much fun! The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The boat was comfortable, and we saw several humpback whales and a bunch of puffins. Highly recommend!

Look no further for your Northern Lights tour! We had an *exceptionally excellent* experience with Happyworld. I had done a bunch of research before selecting a tour company and honed in on Happyworld mainly due to the comparatively small group size, reasonable price, and flexibility to rebook at no additional cost in case the Lights don't cooperate.

In addition to these logistical advantages, Happyworld provides clear and timely day-of communication, does thorough daily meteorological research before making a go-no decision, and keeps you comfortable and engaged during the tour. To boot, Ástþór was a *tremendous guide* - as entertaining as he is informative! - and he did a fantastic job of capturing our experience through photography (see a few attached examples).

Our overall Northern Lights journey comprised three nights:

    - Night 1: We ventured out, but the Lights weren't very strong. It was still nice to be out under the stars!

    - Night 2: True to their world, Happyworld allowed us to rebook for free, but in the early evening informed us that the meteorological conditions weren't conducive to seeing the light and cancelled the trip. We appreciated their not wasting our time, as well as providing suggestions for alternative activities in Reykjavik.

    - Night 3: Once again, true to their world, Happyworld allowed us to rebook for free. This time those Northern Lights *absolutely exploded* for us. We spent several hours in a field outside of Reykjavik watching the lights move and dance, ebb and pop, change color. The spectacle was well worth the wait - truly magical! - and very much enhanced by Ástþór's enthusiasm and narration.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND chasing the Northern Lights with Happyworld!

We spent 4 days in Iceland touring with Hidden Iceland and had an exceptional experience! Our guide, Ingimundur, was fabulous - very knowledgeable and personable, funny and an excellent driver. The mini van for our group of 10 was in mint condition and a great benefit is that it came packed with rain gear and hiking boots for all of us. Given that it poured for 4 days, we would not have been able to enjoy the trip without the excellent gear!

If you’re planning a trip to Iceland, book with Hidden Iceland!

We had an amazing experience on this trip with Heimir, I couldn’t recommend him enough. He was so kind and so knowledgeable and really made our northern lights experience special.

I went with my mom and we booked to go our first night of our trip as we knew seeing them would all be by chance. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see anything on our first night but Heimir still made it a great night considering we were out in the middle of the night in the freezing cold. Since we were unlucky on our first night we were invited back on another night to try again which we were very grateful for.

Luckily that night we got some amazing lights. Again Heimir was lovely, making sure we were comfortable while we waited. He set us up with chairs, hot chocolate and the warm suits which were very appreciated! We got an amazing show thankfully in the end and really was a highlight of our trip, with amazing pictures captured by Heimir. Thank you Heimir for making it so great! Hopefully we will be back in Iceland one day and will definitely book on again.

I had a great snorkelling experience with Wilfred.

Pickup and the drive there was well run by Raka and the friendly team at Dive.is helped get us all suited up. I wore thermal leggings and a thermal top and three pairs of socks under the dry suit and was warm throughout. It was a little cold putting my face in the water but I quickly got used to it.

Wilfred took good care of us and made sure we were all comfortable in the water. The water was crystal clear, it was an incredible experience seeing right to the depths which go further than the human eye can see. It was a very windy day and the current was a bit strong at the end, but Wilfred swung into action and made sure we all got back to shore safely. Thanks Wilfred for a great experience in difficult conditions and for being an excellent underwater photographer!
