- Flitz8-A foodie travelsAmsterdam, The Netherlands3,189 contributionsGreat views over the area, the donuts were recommended to us by an local so had to try they were good and not sweet but still goodWritten 7 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RockhillsFinland130 contributionsLots to see in a old factory building. The layout of the exhibitions is bit confusing. As a wheelchair person I really appreciated that the guide took the time to help me navigate through several levels and elevators to Manserock.
Note that the museum shop is not fully accesible. Some exhibitions are tight and larger wheelchairs will struggle. The cafe looked nice but too crowded for wheelchair. Handicapped parking is by the main entrance. We did not see all the exhibitions and will most likely visit again.Written 23 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I especially enjoyed Tuulikki Pietilä's miniature art based on Tove Jansson's stories. They were truly beautifully detailed. Our 4-year-old daughter was slightly frightened by some parts of the museum because the lighting is very dark. Our favourite bits were the miniatures and the giant version of The Book about Moomin, Mymble and Little My. Well worth the money to visit.Written 8 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- B KGurugram (Gurgaon), India186 contributionsThe stone church looks imposing and grand. The horticulture and the trees around it add to the charm. It's a pity we couldn't go inside as there was a personal ceremony going on and we didn't feel like intruding.Written 6 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - 599AngelaToronto, Canada528 contributionsThis is a rather misnamed museum. Although it is in the building where Lenin met Stalin in 1905 and plotted the creation of the Soviet Union (and you can stand on the very spot were it happened), the actual museum deals with Lenin in about two or three cabinets and suddenly you are in the middle of the complicated relations between Russia and Finland that have existed since 1917. Good treatments of the Finnish Civil War and the Winter War and "War of Continuation", and then the collection gets very muddled indeed. It is hard to know what this museum is actually trying to do with their esoteric collection of Finnish artifacts and Soviet kitsch.
The museum is closing in a few months to open in 2025 with a new theme that will be more in keeping with their actual opinions now.
I enjoyed my visit. And the admission price was certainly reasonable. And they were one of the few places in Tampere I could find good tourist maps.Written 14 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
