Middelheimpark Antwerp
... array of sculpture, including some very famous names like Henry Moore and August Rodin add the delight of the visit...take some time out to wander around in the park...I think you will enjoy the experience!
In every season, it’s a delight to walk around in this large park (67 acres) and discover the sculptures from different angles among the trees and on the lawns.
If you love nature and want to see a magical phenomenon, go to Halle, Belgium and see the blue bells that turn this already lovely forest into an enchanting place to visit!
If you happen to be in the Brussels area in Mid April to early May and you enjoy nature, this forest should be on your itinerary.
Sonian Forest Brussels
South-east of Brussels are 5000 ha nice forests, with lakes like immens parks, ideal for walks and relaxing in the nature and escape the town traffic, by observing birds and squirrels;
it's a big park, the kind where you can spend the day, go for long walks, plan picnics, ride your bicycle.
It's a perfect choice for good weather when everyone is outside - the park and forest offer enough green space for everyone so you can choose whether to socialise or find a more secluded place to enjoy the trees.
This is amazing place to escape your daily routine and reconnect with nature since the forest is big enough so there are places that are really wild and intimate.
Such a serene and beautiful place.Nothing beats the magic of nature that's nurtured with love.The ambiance of the place is just lovingly magical.
Excellent Park , there is plenty to see and do old Buildings River cruises pony and cart rides and Bars and restaurants and of course the usual array of gift shops.
4 Ways to experience it
Located in the heart of town and only a few minutes away from the central marketplace, this garden is a gorgeous park with beautiful walking paths and sculptures along the paths.
You can go for a walk or sit and read something in the peaceful and beautiful surrounding of the park.
Chateau de la Hulpe on itself is beautiful, as well as the huge surrounding park with an artificial lake, farm of the castle (with excellent brunch), great forests, etc, etc.
Beautiful Castell, even more incredible gardens/park, huge and very suitable for a sunny day outside (just reading or doing outdoor activities).
Middelheim is right next door to a fabulous open air park showing some first class sculpture exhibits...calm, serene, perfect for a summer's day outing...take some time out and get out of the city...the sights are...
We walked round the park, Excellent walk with plenty of works to see in the park.
