For anyone visiting Rotterdam with a group of indecisive eaters, Markthal is a lifesaver! This incredible market hall offers a mind-boggling variety of cuisines under one roof, from fresh produce and seafood to international delicacies.

The best part? It's super convenient! Located right next to a train station, Markthal is a dream come true for hungry travelers. I only had a glimpse during my visit, but the sheer diversity left me wanting to explore more. Can't wait to return to Rotterdam and spend a proper afternoon indulging at Markthal!

We traveled from the UK to visit this museum and it did not disappoint. The venue is an amazing old dock building but the real treasure is the floor after floor of pinball machines, from all eras and including some real classics. The age of these machines means some will always need a quick fix but you could see the team actively working to get things going again.
My family all enjoyed the four hours we spent there, we only left because our 6 year old was all played out.

The 800-meter cable-stayed bridge with one hinged pylon is a real symbol of Rotterdam, a city that rose from the ashes after the barbaric bombing of the Luftwaffe in 1940. Perhaps this should be the symbol of the city with the largest port in Europe and the most international population in the Netherlands. And the appropriate name is in honor of the great humanist Erasmus of Rotterdam. However, because of the 139-meter hinged asymmetric steel pylon, the bridge was nicknamed "Swan". As often happens, excessive passion for design led to problems with the stability of the structure and the bridge had to be strengthened after installation. Strangely enough, the bridge was built not in Rotterdam, but in Vlissingen and delivered to Rotterdam. The bridge was designed by Dutch architect Ben van Berkel, who was later suspected of plagiarism from Santiago Calatrava. The Erasmus Bridge resembled the one built 4 years earlier by his project Puente Alamillo in Seville.

It's a clean and well-equipped station with plenty of facilities. I used the bag drop option, which was good. While waiting for your train, you can chill and find your favorite drink.

My 10 year old nephew loved it. So many animals, arranged by continent. We were there for four hours but could have stayed longer if it hadn’t been closing.

    Well, the tower is spectacular.
Unfortunately, because of strong wind, the upper side wasn't reachable but I would recommend such a building, you can see the whole city of Rotterdam and the harbour, seaport, very huge.

Absolutely gorgeous gardens with lots of nooks and crannies. We visited the top cafe which had a limited but very tasty menu. The kids got a bit bored but I was thoroughly in love. I took a few ideas away too.

I just chanced upon this place during a stroll. Very insta-friendly and had a nice lunch nearby. Seemed very popular with locals too.

Possibly the best sandwiches we’ve ever had! The food was incredible, the service was good. Unfortunately, because it’s outside there was bird poo on the chairs and wasn’t somewhere you would want to pop your handbag on the floor. But no faults on the food.
