The museum is very busy so you have to use your imagination to picture what the building was like when the Frank family were in hiding there. We paid extra for the programme before going around the museum - this was a waste of time: we learned nothing new and it was focused on the few children who were there at the same time.

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam for me personally. I thought the museum was very well organized, and a great variety of work from van Gogh was on display. We got advance tickets for 9 AM so that we could get it before the museum got too busy, because it was definitely crowded by 10 AM. We visited in March, and I can only imagine how busy it gets in the summer.

As everyone else says, this is an amazing museum with so much stuff that you can barely see in one day. With that said, the app was very difficult to use, and so we ended up not using it. Not sure if the official audio guide from inside the museum would have been better. We got our tickets several weeks in advance for 9 AM, and it was a good thing because the museum got considerably busier by 10 AM or so. Their collection of decorative parts was particularly enjoyable.

This is a interesting place to visit in Amsterdam, different from the big art museums. It really brings to life the reality of the Protestant Reformation, and how life in the Netherlands used to be. The audio guide is excellent, and the museum is well organized. It took us about one hour to go through, and we were not rushing. Definitely a must-do while you are in Amsterdam.

Excellent exhibition with a wealth of information from people involved in the resistance. Well worth a visit if you are interested in WW2 history. Good to get another country’s perspective of the war.

I did not find the actual house itself as interesting as how the museum presented the paint-making and painting process. It is not a must visit on your first visit to Amsterdam but if you wish to learn more about the techniques of painting then it is a great place!

I've done the London dungeons so knew kind of what to expect, was still entertaining though and interesting to learn more about Amsterdam. Came away a certified witch....

We were surprised at how small this museum was, and then when you consider that the bottom floor is currently a Robbie Williams exhibit that is really not very good, you realize this museum is pretty overpriced. There just aren’t a whole lot of actually good pieces of art to see here, and we even paid more for the tickets than we did for the Rijksmuseum. With that said, if you have nothing to do, or are particularly interested in seeing a few Banksy or Keith Haring pieces of art, it is worth it, but I probably would skip it if I had to do it again.

This is a fabulous museum, first class! The building itself is my favorite part but the exhibitions were also excellent. There was a fascinating exhibition of a Dutch solo sailor and the shop was very good. Highly recommend.

I was most impressed by the kindness of all the staff there, particularly Rob, thanks to whom Christopher, who is in a wheelchair, was able to use the staff lifts to get to the various floors. We had a most enjoyable visit indeed. So glad we got photographs taken - a lovely souvenir to take back to France with us on 14th December. Thank you all for such a lovely experience.

This tour was absolutely fantastic. We had Karen, who was lovely and engaging. It was a great morning to start off our trip to the Netherlands. It was also very easy to get to via tram and a short walk.

Fantastic Science Museum. Loads for the kids but great for us adults too who like to experiment. Highlight was seeing the chain reaction. Didn't do the lab. As half term was very busy so didn't do as much as we hoped but will go back during term time.

Great museum! Very interesting content displayed in an interactive and visually pleasing way. You could see live microbes under microscopes that you could operate yourself. A fun afternoon out for adults and kids alike!

It was my very first trip to Amsterdam, from 26.12 - 28.12 and hopefully not my last one. So many places to visit and interesting things to see.
My schedule was already full and I couldn't make it to Rembrandt's house. But Rembrandt's Experience was a great alternative and I'm glad that I choose this place. In a short amount of time (20-30 minutes), you'll learn the most important things about Rembrandt's life and family. The 5D experience will leave you speechless, especially if you haven't already experienced something similar before like me. Very educational, with great effects and setup that it will bring you with a short Time travel back to the Dutch Golden Age.
