#1 of 78 Sights & Landmarks in Parma
Largely destroyed by Allied bombing in WWII, and faithfully restored from original plans, its U-shaped rows of bench seating, topped with ornate arches, is an impressive site.
... is slamost like you can feel the atmosphere in the theatre even thogh when I visited I was completely alone. The sun was shining in the windows and it was amazing. One of the best sights I have seen anywhere

There is nice view around the sight.
#3 of 78 Sights & Landmarks in Parma
... a baroque masterpiece the dome with its showpiece the Ascecension of Mary painted by Coreggio is a must and has got to be seen, the church next door saint Giovanni Evangilista is also an interesting view.
The cathedral is free entry, but the duomo-baptistery combo ticket comes with a tablet audio guide for both sites, which is very good.
#4 of 78 Sights & Landmarks in Parma
This is one of the world sights: a vision in pink and white marble outside, containing extraordinary carved and multicoloured religious and secular figures, and an amazing ceiling.
It is stunning and, in my view, puts Florence and Pisa in the shade.
#5 of 78 Sights & Landmarks in Parma
Well worth finding and like so many sites in Parma quiet.
Continue through the path past the ticket office and you will find another interesting site, the puppet museum.

We bought tickets to visit the gallery and were surprised when told that as well as entry to the gallery they allowed us to view another 3 attractions: the archeological museum, the biblioteca and the teatro Farnese.
Really great site in the centre of the town
