The show was absolutely stunning. With only three rows of seats, the emotions of the artists and dancers can be felt up close. I would declare this a “must see” show in Madrid. 10/10 🥰 I enjoyed the fact that we didn’t have waiters coming in and out for dinner, it made for a more immersive experience. We got to bring our drinks downstairs as well.

If you want to see Flamenco in Madrid, this is the place. One hour is perfect. Great show, very efficient - starts and ends on time and it is a lot of fun! We have done Flamenco and dinner and this is better because you can eat at a nice resteraunt and then go watch the show. Worth the price!

    Awesome experience!!!!
Had heard of this microteatro and went on our layover in Madrid. We purchased 3 plays and were all amazing!
    Will definitely be back!
All the actors were very talented and in “Juguetes Perdidos” had the audience interact
    It was all very entertaining.

I've visited here a few times. Cash only. Wide range of sherries, all very sensibly priced. Feels very old school, walls are brown, looking aged. I don't know how old the bar is really, but it's a wonderful place in a warm afternoon for a few sherries.

Having never been to flaminco before, I admit having a lot of misconceptions. I thought the show would consist of many men and women dancing at the same time.
Actually, there was a band of 5 musicians/singers and only one man and one woman who danced. There were only 3 or 4 dancing numbers, and other times it was just the band. The show was enjoyable, just different than expected.
As a side note, we booked this with the tapas - which were good, but honeslty I think we were the only people there who ate anything. So my advice would be just to book the show and eat elsewhere.

In a small street in Madrid, you find Sunset 80, a classic proposal, but different from all the fashion clubs. His sign announces "welcome to the 80´s" and another sign on the door clarifies that you will not listen to reggaeton or commercial music. It is very well attended, prices are reasonable. A fully recommended option

This cocktail bar offers a split-level setting, with a ground floor and a basement area. The staff is amiable and proficient in both English and Spanish.

We tried 3 different cocktails, all of which were both delightful and reasonably priced, ranging between 10-12 EUR. Although our reservation led us to the basement, providing a quieter and more laid-back atmosphere than the ground floor, it did feel a bit stuffy due to a lack of ventilation.

With its unique style, this cocktail bar is certainly worth a visit if you happen to be in the area. I'd also recommend making a reservation in advance, as it tends to get quite crowded inside.

    Great portions!
For the budget people who wants to pay only for the drink, and enjoy the FREE TAPAS! (As it used to be back in the years when "tapas" concept was invented by one of the kings, which actually made a law for all the wine places to serve some side food "tapas" to whoever drunk wine, for a halthier drinking!).

I was actually amazed by the portion of the free "tapas-side dish". And the drink is average price, 3.5 euros for the small beer (like the one in the table next to me!), 5.50 euros for my portion 😃👌
To be in downtown area, it is not a touristic price, but more for locals that pay a little extra for the food. Really good for value!

Just keep in mind that you may repeat tapas dishes... but for me it was ok, this plate was my whole meal!
And... quality is ok, just a quick and go style, don't expect gourmet food 😉

I was staying near Atocha Train Station , went walking looking for a bar with atmosphere and how lucky to find this.
Wonderful barman Jose , credit to the establishment. Lovely choice of drinks and snacks given with them .
There was an Art group get-together when we visited so the place was so busy with a great ambience.
Was hoping to return next week but thats not to happen now. I look forward to returning once this virus has left .
    Great First experience to Madrid.

As a local with a foreign partner I was shocked at the treatment from some of the workers. I've had already been there before, the club is actually so amazing but I went back with my partner and they didn't let him inside. Some guy looked at him and said "how could you come here like that? No, definitely no. You can't come inside" I tried to explain he lost his suitcase and didn't have another type of clothes that were appropriate for that club but he just ignored and another guard tried to help but he couldn't do anything and said "you want one refund?" He really expected me to just go inside without my partner. After that I realized it was some kind of racism because he wasn't the only asian that got rejected to go inside, there were many other asian people who couldn't go inside.

We thoroughly dug Madrid’s La Coquette Blues Bar, a subterranean space with a lively crowd, cold drinks and a plugged in Chicago-style blues band. They feature an ever-changing roster of bands; you can see who’s playing on their web site. The doors open at 8 pm, and it’s a small place, so we showed up at 7:30 or so and stood in a short line outside. The line soon got longer behind us. Once inside, we found ourselves in a cavern-like underground space with rough stone walls, vintage blues show posters and a terrific Chicago blues soundtrack. A friendly waiter was taking drink orders, and everybody gets a bowl of sunflower seeds in the shell. It got crowded, but not uncomfortably so, as they limit admission; they let a couple new people in when some leaves. The band came on at 9 — a fun Chicago-style blues band with guitar, standup bass, drums and a female singer — and we stayed for most of the second set as well. The crowd was really upbeat and friendly, and we were offered free shots with our beers. All in all, had a great time and would recommend this spot for a fun evening out.

We visited in januari around 20.00u. the staff was very friendly, the drinks are nicely priced and they give complementary snacks with the drinks. I really recommend this place if your looking for a place to have a good cocktail close by main Street.

Excellent in many ways, what a speakeasy is meant to be. You better know the password. The “story” is well executed and delivered by the hostess and bartenders. Once in, you need to open the “safe” door to finally get to the bar area. Very, and I mean very, original drinks presented in unique ways.
And they are extremely strict in keeping the place as a speakeasy. Access control. No loud music. No standing patrons.
    We had an excellent time.
