What travellers are saying
- Makayla W1 contributionI opted for the cable car ride up instead of hiking it on foot as many people said it would be a strenuous journey. It wasn't the be all end all, but still a lot of fun.Written 25 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Paul WBridport, UK17 contributionsAmazing natural geological cave system in the Rock of Gibraltar. Fantastic caves with great light show
Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as we didn’t see any wheelchair access and there are steps to negotiate on touring and exiting the caves.Written 13 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Of particular interest was the James Bond author, Ian Fleming’s link to the use of the tunnels during WW2 and also the evacuation of Gibraltar’s civilian population.Written 13 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marko MHollola, Finland296 contributionsWe saw lot of Barbary macaque when we visited on the Rock of Gibraltar. Those are used to people so taking photos is relatively easy. But don't eat anything, because monkey try to steal food if it's possible.Written 12 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DotsGirl2Vancouver, Canada620 contributionsThis viewpoint allows you to see Africa and Spain. It is very nice. We went on a tour and spent 10 minutes there which was enough timeWritten 7 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dan LWillesden, UK444 contributionsWhat a specular hike. It isn't for the novice, and does require some prior hoking experience. But the MedStep was specular, and a really great experience. You get to see some great views on the back of The Rock, and also challenge your hoking skills. You do need to be careful as some of the paths are narrow and unsupported. But the views and 2nd to none across the whole of the island.Written 28 December 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Bozeman-DublinTrim, Ireland11,521 contributionsMain Street is the heart of Gibraltar Town. It is busy and full of shops, cafes and eateries, but it's pedestrianised so much more relaxing than other parts of the town.
It makes for a nice place to stroll by day, but by night it's pretty much deserted.Written 25 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Substantial residential plus numerous restaurants and cafes are available.
Marinas are a further attraction and multitudes of crafts of all kinds were to be seen.Written 15 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I really enjoyed a ramble in such a peaceful place. Completely free and lots of benches scattered around to sit on and enjoy the place.Written 25 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SILVANA FTurin, Italy13 contributionsI expected a completely different experience, but (for the geographical position in the European continent) Gibraltar remains a must, not to be missed if you are travelling in the south west of Spain. The cable car is expensive (19 UK pounds for adults and 17 for over 65, meaning 21 euros) for a 6 minute ride return. But the alternative is walking on a sealed road, together with taxis: not a nice option! And in summer should be very hot ☀️ The advanced purchase of the tickets is absolutely necessary to reduce the visitor lines!Written 5 January 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - permiaIreland68,229 contributionsSet in the lovely gardens it was enlightening to see the numerous animals that are so well looked after.
It was fascinating to discover that the area it occupied was originally a miniature golf course that had descended into neglect. With an ever increase in the animals being rescued it was decided to use the location for the care of the animals.Written 18 March 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Cathedral Square would be a good entry point.
Really well maintained with a lake, fountains and well tended lawns and gardens.
The place was full of families with children and locals chilling out on the benches.
I sat on a few occasions, a lovely park. Brilliant to read that it used to be a car oark before being landscsped for municipal use.Written 25 February 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We got a lane straight away, was reasonably priced, the screen was easy to use and there was a good selection of bowling balls. The shoes given were incredibly slippy though, and I'm not really sure if they are actually needed as most bowling alleys don't seem to make you wear them now.Written 14 August 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Lindsey M4 contributionsOrdered a watch from the store. I live in UK and saw watch was £100 cheaper than in UK. No tax to pay.
I was a bit dubious but Raja store manager reassured me by sending photos of the watch and recommended I read reviews prior to purchasing it. I paid via a bank transfer.
The watch arrived 3 days later via royal mail special delivery and was very well packaged.
Thankyou Raja for your help and patience whilst I checked reviews.
A☆ Service.
Highly recommend
