I thought the first-ever art exhibition of this nature by ArtSpace was truly inspiring. Well organised, a fab location, wonderfuf art, comfortable seating on which to view, other gift items for sale, well informed staff. It was fabulous.

I didn’t know the gallery and discovered it while doing the questo app story game here in Gibraltar, and I must say it’s been a very nice surprise! Love the fact that it’s inside the Bastion!

The art may be contemporary but its home certainly isn’t. Given that it’s in the marvellous former Victorian Police Station, which dates from1864. A beautiful building that has many ornate and stylish design features.

Samuel Thomas from Norwich has a few absorbing works, including Springtime Magic, Time for Reflection and Sunny Gibraltar.

Blondie the singer is given a striking portrait by Scott Tetlow. Sebastian Burdon’s Whathisname is a take on a well known cartoon couple. City of Angel by Ben Jeffery displays an attractive woman whose sunglasses reflect Hollywood.

A nice touch is the use of former police cells to host some of the art.
