- Dimitris LSydney, Australia45,458 contributionsMercat de la Llibertat is an excellent place to get some lovely fresh food at local prices. It is clean and offers a wide range of fresh produce and other products. You can buy to take away or you can sit in and enjoy a meal inside. The atmosphere is really pleasant. The service professional and friendly. The Market was built back in the late 19th century and was "recently" renovated, in 2009. It's worth a visit if you happen to be in the area.Written 21 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- stephenlauHong Kong, China12 contributionsIf you wish to taste the best local foods with reasonable prices, here is the place. After the meal, you can also walk around the market to buy Spanish ham, sausages, nuts, dates, etc., etc. You can also walk the old city and newly developed area near by.Written 7 July 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Justine T1 contributionThis paella cooking class was such a great experience for me and my college friends! The maestra was very friendly and a great teacher. The facility was clean and was very accommodating for one of our members who has a severe peanut/tree nut allergy. Learning to make one of Spain's most traditional foods was definitely a highlight of the trip, and I am excited to make this myself back in the States!Written 11 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - marletteBarcelona, Spain74 contributionsIf you want to shop like a local, this place is very good. Very good quality, variation and range of products, albeit a bit pricey. Not an experience like the Boqueria, but better for shopping.Written 15 February 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - roncimagesBirmingham, AL78 contributionsThe half-day Forever Barcelona Gaudí Tour was one of the best travel experiences we have had! We were picked up at our cruise ship in a luxurious Mercedes town car. Marta obviously loves her city and that enthusiasm came through clearly as she described and gave background information about everything we were seeing (not just the Gaudí locations). She thoroughly answered every question we had, including a few off-beat queries about miscellaneous things we saw along the way. We "skipped the lines" at all the attractions and Marta personally guided us through each one. By the end of the tour we felt like Marta was our new friend. It's a bit pricey, perhaps, but worth every penny! Highest recommendation!Written 9 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Devyn CChicago, IL279 contributionsThis tour was outstanding. Moa (yes, her name is Moa, not Mona!) is a fantastic guide with superb knowledge and personality. We were lucky to have a great, sociable group. My dad, brother and I took this tour on our second day here. The knowledge we gained helped us with some decision-making during the rest of our visit. I highly recommend this tour, and I suggest doing it at the beginning of your trip so you can use your knowledge later in your trip or on future visits. Thank you Moa for a great tour!Written 24 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- P.C.H.B.Huntington Beach43 contributionsMarta was our tour guide in Barcelona. We did a group tour with her and she was so knowledgeable and engaging that we hired her to take 4 of us on a private tour. We could not have been happier with her guidance. We went to lunch after our tour and she joined us. We had a great time and she ordered all the local tapas. All were so EXCELLENT!! We highly recommend Marta! She really knows Barcelona and is very informative!! If we go back to Barcelona we definitely will be contacting her.Written 23 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
