Absolutely lovely little marina with restaurants/pubs/coffee shops/small supermarket and selection of little shops perfumes/shoe shops etc It also has a small market twice a week amazing views well worth a visit

The view from mirador del rio is amazing.It was a beautiful clear sunny day when we drove up in the hire car and we could see the picturesque little island of la Graciosa off the northern tip of Lanzarote.

We visited this castle as we had read about how great the views were but the castle itself is fantastic with interesting displays aimed at younger children but we found it thoroughly enjoyable and interesting.
The views are fantastic, its easy to see why this was picked as a location for a castle, near 360degree views of the island and sea.
