This boat trip was a fun experience! When we left the dock, it was pretty rocky…and I did have to hold on tightly with some nerves around the situation. However, once we got further out it seemed to be calmer, and more relaxed.
If you get even the slightest bit sea-sick, don’t book this. There were a few who fell victim to bad sea-sickness on the trip, but the staff did well to hand out sick bags quickly.
Unfortunately we didn’t have any close encounters with dolphins, and didn’t spot any whales. We saw a few dolphins in the distance, which I tried to catch a photo of, but they were already back down. Obviously I understand this can’t be controlled though. At the end of the boat trip they stopped off somewhere to allow people to chance to swim in the Atlantic Ocean. The boat trip was great fun despite, and as the trip went on, thankfully, the weather got nicer too!🌞🐬💕
