You must booking online 1 or 2 months before your visit, or go the same day to the office located near the entry and ask if is available some slot. You must be at the security checkpoint at least 15’ minutes before your entry time, and have the same documents that you use for booking. The view is amazing, the dome now is closed due maintenance work

Super interesting site. It is a bit on the outside of the center, but you can get there no problem by public transport. It is very interesting and shocking to see where the wall was built, really in the middle of the houses. It gives you some perspective. It takes some time to read all the boards, but there are some videos and audios that fill in some of the blank spots. Very complete, very interesting.

Take in the famous Ishtar Gate. Although most of the tiles are reproductions, the gleaming blue is lovely, and the fantastic animals are, well, fantastic. Do a selfie in the Pegamon Temple, and take time to admire the mosaic floor. But don't miss the Islamic Art gallery one floor up. The collection is varied, and some of the pieces are quite fine. In answer to the visitor who complained about monolingual signs in German, sheets delineating the collection are available in English and other languages.

This stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site is located in Berlin’s historic Mitte. You can find five historic museums here: Altes Museum, Neues Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Bode Museum, and Pergamon Museum.

A new exhibition building, the James Simon Gallery, was opened in 2019. At the moment, there are construction works going on around Pergamon Museum.

Also, Berlin Cathedral can be found next to the museums.

You can easily spend the whole day on this island. Beware that you have to make a time-slot reservation for each museum.

I've never been inside. I was staying on the side street at hostel. Due to the lack of private space there, or any space really, I would walk to the corner after dark to sit on the benches in the side square of the building. At the time I didn't know what it was. What I did know was when the lights came on and the sun went down those windows were absolutely stunning. Magical, and thats before the joint. Trust me when I say if you are anywhere nearby in the evening, take a walk by, sit on the bench and just appreciate this remarkably stunning masterpiece.

It's a depressing place because it's about the horrors the occurred during wartime. Despite that, it's an important history that we should all see and hear about

This was included as part of a guided tour. Many large, stone rectangular sculptures of varying height - area for quiet contemplation.

Is a gallery of graffiti along the wall off Berlin. Some graffiti are very nice. Be careful some pickpockets are in the area.

Most pleasant and impressive of the 5 (at least until the Pergamon is re-opened fully). The Egyptian display is, of course, very extensive, but it is the early man display on the top floor that most impressed me. Probably the best display on the Paleolithic that I have seen.

Beautiful, big park in the centre of the city. It's possible to reach it from the Brandenburg gate and in the center you can find the Victory Column. The zoo is also there

The Charlottenburg Palace is, in my opinion, one of the top main attractions in Berlin. However, the visitation is not highly frequented so it is very nice and not stressful to visit this place. You can visit it independently from the weather or the age. Everybody can see something new and have fun. There is also a restaurant and a location where you can have a big party like a wedding or a prom. This place is very popular for such events.
It is easy to reach by public transport, with the train and there is a bus station in front of the palace, there is also a large parking lot.
It was build in the 17th century and the facade was completely repainted about two or three years ago. Inside the palace is a museum with changing exhibitions.
Every year, there is a large Christmas market in front of the palace and the palace is beautifully illuminated. Behind the palace is a big garden which is absolutely lovely. There are a small pond and a lot of trails where you can walk around. You also can ride a bicycle through the garden or have a small picnic with some friends or do sports in a group. Often there are groups of people doing yoga. There are several sheep in the meadow so the lawn does not have to be mowed. This is very environmentally friendly and also a small attraction

I don't want very much at zoo but this one is really beautiful, big and famous. There are a lot of different animals inside and there treated well. If you don't like zoo maybe you can skip this, but if you like them this one Deserves to be seen
