Kaiserburg Nürnberg is a palace included in the Bavarian Castle Pass (14 day or annual). Our family visited the Kaiserburg Nürnberg in Sept. 2024. We found that the castle ground is standard and normal. However, what shined was the history explanation of the castle, the view from the Castle Tower (included in the ticket price), and especially the excellent tour given at the well of the castle.
We find that the young man who was given the well of the castle tour that day to be particular energetic, and gave an excellent English tour (which were the majority of the audience that day, only one guest indicated that she can speak German). His witty narrative helped us appreciating the construction and the maintenance needed for the well of the castle, and greatly improved our experience.

Across a lake from the parade grounds was a huge horseshoe shaped building that housed the Nazi Documentation Center and now serves as a museum within the remains of this building. It houses a large collection of Nazi propaganda and artifacts from that era.

We visited Courtroom 600, located on the second floor of the Palace of Justice. This was the venue of the Nazi war trials that captured the world's attention post WWII. We also visited the Memorial Nuremberg Trials exhibit located on the remainder of this floor. Shown is the dock where the accused sat, the door thru which they entered the courtroom, and the bench where the four justices sat (one from England, France, the Soviet Union, and USA). Leah was very moved by what had occurred here 80 years ago.

This is the largest church in Nuremberg and is a twin-towered 14th-century Gothic church. The church is filled with many works of art which have been donated by the richer classes over centuries. Be sure to see the unique three-part organ boasting over 12,000 pipes, which is said to be one of the largest such instruments in the world.

The Christmas Markets in Nuremberg are huge with a great number of stalls. We really enjoyed the experience but it was over-crowded maybe because we went on a Sunday. The Christmas Markets themselves are worth going to, but the transportation needs to be polished up. For both legs of the trip to/from Munich, getting on a train can be quite challenging. On our return journey back to Munich there were people standing up for the whole trip. I think DB should make better preparations to transfer a higher influx of people for these markets. The trains were also not so frequent. We had to wait for an hour to catch both trains (1 hr in the morning and another in the evening for the return journey). More frequent trips could also help alleviate the situation with over crowding in the trains. However, once you arrive in Nuremberg, the Christmas Markets are a wonderful sight especially once the sun sets down.

Fascinating walk through history and art. The audio tour was excellent but even though I’d researched in advance, I hadn’t found the download to my own phone in advance option and neglected to bring my headphones. If you can, do that otherwise it’s 3 euros to rent theirs. Still worth it.

This whole experience blew me out of the water.
The exhibit is in German but you get a audio guide included in price to go
    Through exhibits.
They have made the historical facts so interesting
The short film in Court room is sensational. So well done with 2 screens. A must if you visit Nuremberg.

This is a great place to visit. So many things to see. Beautiful dolls houses with extremely detailed rooms. Loads of miniature figures depicting olden times, dolls, soldiers, vehicles. Adults will love it too. We didn’t visit with children. Would highly recommend

This central square in the old town is surrounded by sights you must not miss on your visit to Nuremberg. Of particular note are the Schöner Brunnen, the gilded “beautiful fountain” with tiers of figures, and Frauenkirche, a 14th-century Gothic church.

This Roman Catholic Church (Church of Our Lady) dates back to 1352 and is located on the central square. If you are nearby at noon be sure to stop and see the Männleinlaufen, a beautiful old clock that was installed in 1506 with mechanical figures representing the seven Electors pacing around Emperor Charles IV.

This place is currently undergoing some sort of restoration, but probably at a slow pace, as there were no workers visible.
There are photos, how it looked before. It was completely demolished and a lot of work was done. But it is not enough yet - half of the place is closed for safety reasons, documentation center is closed too and the only information, you can get on boards is, how is are the restorations going, what is the intended state and how much it was damaged before. No relevant information on the history.
4* is the historical authenticity. If you are already in Nuremburg, dont miss it. If you plan to visit Nuremburg to see it, dont do that, you will be disappointed.
