One of the most beautiful church interiors, albeit a bit faded. Maybe its the lighting. Looks much better in photo than what you actually see.

‘Schloss’ seems to exaggerate the gravitas of Blutenburg. What stands today is more in the manner of a peaceful country estate than a fortress but it wasn’t always so. It may have been better at keeping people in than out, none more dangerous than Lola Montez.

Today the Schloss fulfils some role in children’s libraries that is, frankly, beyond me. Doesn’t matter, the moat remains, the chapel is a thing of beauty and you can wander through the courtyard at will. An interesting restaurant, Schlossschänke Blutenburg, operates at the side. The menu during my visit was duck and out of respect for the dozens of them in the moat, I went hungry.

The Schloss is a sunny-day must-do. You can safely cycle the 12k's there if you are that crazy. S2 train to Obermenzing, bus 143 stops right outside.

Had a fantastic experience at 1860 Munchen at the start of November. The game was 1860 v Freiburg II. Before the game, the fans were in good spirits at the local pub around the corner from the stadium. Beers and schnitzels were served at very reasonable prices. I consumed a few before the game and had a schnitzel to keep me going for a few hours.

Security was quick and efficient. Covid checks were in place and passports and vaccination status had to be shown.

The game itself was quite an exciting affair. 1860 came out of the blocks very quick and by half time they were 2 - 0 up. The crowd were in fine voice and the flags kept on waving. A good thing with german football games is that you can drink beer in the terraces (and smoke drugs if you wish ). I stuck to the beer and sang along with the loyal fans.

Half time, and a quick trip to the fan shop to buy a scarf and a beer bottle opener (as well as a pee due to the beer drinking). Another beer purchased and on with the second half.

What a game it was, the final score 6 - 0 to the mighty 1860 !.

Met a lot of new friends / fans that day. What a fantastic support this club has.
This really was a day to remember!!! Back to the fan pub after the game to celebrate with more beer and schnitzels. The fans were happy to mix together without any trouble which is always good to see.

One place worth going to after the game is the "Giesinger" brauhaus, just North of the stadium. The address is Martin Luther Strasse. 10-15 min walk and has one of the best Wiener Schnitzels in Munchen.

A green lung, with a lot of history, today used for relaxing, walking, jogging and running. On the west side you'll find a play ground and a sports area.

I’ve now visited twice, once with my parents in May 2019 and once with my brother and his girlfriend in July 2019 - I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ve played both missions now (message in a bottle and Alien Invasion) and both are available in perfect English. Alien invasion was definitely my favourite, but both missions have certain aspects that will make you go ‘WOW!’ Great for all ages, very fun and will definitely put your mind and teamwork skills to the test! Thanks Andreas for making both experiences so great!

A short city break to Munich and Salzburg and this was a true highlight. Thanks to Thomas and the team for the help with planning. It was a 5 star night at a great location where we were made very welcome. A must visit for your time in Munich.

I lived in this area for 8 years and now after many years I explored the area to visit places I had been during my earlier stay and also visited the very impressive New Parish Church St. Margaret. It is located in the middle of a quiet residential area, about 200 m from U-Bahn and 300 m from S-Bahn station Harras. The church was constructed from 1902 until 1913, mainly financed by 3 farmers. The church is huge, the inside spans 21 meter wide and 75.50 meter long with a clear height of 26.60 meters, it is one of the largest churches in Munich. The façade is strongly sculptural, with the main accent on the west view, the 85.50 meter high bell tower is offset to the north. Inside, the Rococo altar and two wooden sculptures from around 1500 depicting St. George and St. Margaret stand out.

We booked the Alice in Wonderland and had so much fun! After we finished we had the chance to do another room (Weltreise) quite spontaneously. Both rooms are so much fun, the team gives you just enough advice during your 60 minutes in the room that you will definitely make it but still will feel that you accomplished it by yourself. Very well thought through! Would definitely recommend!

What an INCREDIBLE journey Michelle took us on in our Munich guided walking tour on 12/20. It was so marvelous I’m writing it on the same day. Michelle made Munich come alive with her interactive tour. My partner and I are forever grateful for her, she has truly painted Munich and engraved it in my heart and mind forever. Thank you Michelle for what you do.

    Great Experience!
A lot of information which is new even for people living in Munich since a while already!

Great tour guide which also adapted to the special hot weather circumstances!

Michael (our guide) was extremely good. Very knowledgeable and imparted what he knew in an interesting manner. Great at making sure none of our large group got left behind. Sensitive to all while dealing with a difficult subject.

Time to have a more recent review, I reckon, following it reopening full time again. I'd spotted this bar during research for a trip to Munich. and it seemed a must do. Having not fully appreciated the opening times we arrived several hours too early on our first day. However our intrigue was sufficient to return when open and we weren't disappointed. A fantastic concept where you are in full control of how much you drink and how much you spend. As a result prices appeared among the cheapest in the city. However as a tourist the fun element was most important. You pay a €2 deposit (fully refundable) for an i-button and top it up to a spending limit for your drinks. You then select your glass and choice of beer and help yourself; guided by a visual display of how much credit you have left. There is nothing to stop you, although not for me, making a cocktail of all the beers on show. Again any credit remaining on the button is refundable as you return it or you can add to it as you will invariably want to stay for longer than intended. You can even take the button away and top up when you revisit.

As we were leaving a couple of young locals entered with their already charged button. Sadly business hasn't been so good following lockdown and if I had the finance I'd certainly look to invest as it is a brilliant fun idea which can only become more popular as word spreads. Ideal for stag and hen parties I would think and the very helpful and amiable owner Robin would, I'm sure, welcome such groups who would surely want it on their itinerary once they are aware.

In the hope that usage rises again we will certainly head straight there on future visits to the city.

Not even the locals get to know Munich like this! If you are new in the city or just passing by, do not miss the chance to ride with Gerti and the terrific guide/driver!!

This is so much fun!! Just do it! The crew who operates the zip line is comprised of top-notch professionals. Part of the fun is the steep hike up to the start of the zip line! If it hadn't been so warm out I would've done the tour of the Olympic Stadium roof as well. All appropriate safety measures were taken and not once did I feel uneasy about the experience.
