Both trips were full of activities that included history, culture, and experiencing food and drink.
Our trip combined historical breweries, their food and beer, with art, architecture and German history/culture, that Scott, Vonia and Dave & Kelley Ringler, owners of the Cedar Springs Brewery are well versed in.

Levi is an American ex-pat who truly has fallen in love with Munich - and he is passionate about the history, the culture, the food, and the beer.
I would thoroughly recommend contacting Levi for an insider's view to Munich as well as for the recommendations of great places to eat and drink.
I will recommend this tour to everyone, it is great fun you meet amazing people, get to know history and drink amazing beer.
Next it was off on a trip through the streets of Munich which was where Marianna shone, She had a great knowledge of Munich and took us to some great lively and historic bars where there was great food and classic...

Little corner of beer heaven, great food, friendly service and a delicious selection of local brewed beer.
We were only in a small pub, next time for sure we'll take more time to visit museum, eat and drink.

Loved the food and drink we had as well :) Highly recommend!
The city portion was packed with interesting facts and information (both historical and current), great food, delicious schnapps and some of the best beer we've ever had.
Especially if you are in the English Garden, consider the Chinese Tower as your food and drink choice.
The Beergarden at the Chinese Tower / Chinesischer Turm is a Must Visit - you are in the Middle of the Englisch Garden, have at least ob Weekends always life Bavarian Music and fresh traditional Bavarian food in t...

When we were there I got the impression that most of the people were there for the food and drink rather than the church, but it was busy all around the grounds nonetheless.
The food is good, plentiful and hearty although (thanks to Bavarian law) you can bring your own picnic if you desire to each whereever you so wish.

Well worth the trip to have lunch at this place, wonderful German brewery, traditional food and excellent beer.
I did not take the brewery tour, but I did eat/drink in their restaurant.
From the owner and family and all the staff and band they all made our visit most enjoyable to enjoy the local people and how they made our visit feel like one of the family PS the food and wine tasting was excelant.
This included a delicious lunch and all the beer you cared to drink.
We thought this was the perfect way to spend an afternoon: the tour was interesting (and the bottling facility quite mesmerizing!), the food was very tasty and the 2-hour 'freibier' session after the tour offers a...
At the end of the tour you are seated in a very welcoming bar/restaurant were you are served two sausages, two breze and as much beer as you can drink in two hours.
Great location-cool art- cheap German food- GREAT beer!!
It is well worth the visit - you can even eat and drink in the beer garden it is situated in!
Slyrs Destillerie Schliersee
Wow, what a place.... the food, the coffee (Dinzler's), the service, the views and the restaurant itself!
Who doesn't want to drink one of the worlds finest whiskies after a hard day at work?
Very nice (huge) restaurant (not exactly an attraction expect maybe for the museum part) with food and local beers.
Be sure to visit the bierstüberl for some delicious Bavarian food afterwards.
Wonderful food and beer.
Wonderful food and drink
The food and beer was impeccable.

We enjoyed the train ride as we were able to take some of the local beer on the train to drink on the way.
The food in the local beer garden was some of the best we had in Germany.
We were greeted at the entrance to the cellar and descended the stairs into a part of the cellar where we were given a welcome drink of a lovely rosé Sekt (German sparkling wine).
Fantastic bavarian food, great atmosphere and great service, what more could you want!
The food was excellent and service both timely and friendly.
