I arrived prior to sunrise, and had the whole place to myself not 1 other person insight until I started climbing back down an hour & half later.
Breathtaking views from almost every place you look.
Yes the climb can be a little steep at time, might be difficult for those with disabilities unless you have a cane.
As I came into Lehavre from a cruise ship I was not going to pay $70 for a ride there, so if you like to save money walk about 1/2 hr to train/bus station and spend ONLY 3.60€ round trip for about an hour in each direction, walk about 5-10 minutes to the sea, you can't miss it, or follow the sounds of the seagulls.

Definitely recommend if you have a few hours in town, one of the top 10 most beautiful places I've ever visited, and I've been all over the world several times.
A little cold this time of year with a steady sea wind, but I'm sure it beats the crowds in the summer, just wear warm clothes and good walking/climbing shoes.

Trip by train from Rouen to Dieppe. Walking along the nice little port of Dieppe towards the Tourist Office, going straight on, passing nice restaurants, then arriving at the sea shore.

Sitting on these many different stones, watching the waves and listening to the birds living on this coast, finding their food out of these special stones.

It was absolutely amazing, observing these animals and feeling the power of nature, these tremendous watermovements of the sea.

A nice walk on this coastal area leads you quite close to this famous white falaises.

I was advised by a person living in the Normandie, not to walk too close to these rocks, neither above nor underneath as in younger times these falaises seemed to be able to break down.

It is a dream of a beach.
    Very nice.
Not too crowded and very clean.
We entered at the very North were the botanical garden is.
There is a free parking lot.
Just wobble down the short path and there you are.
    Miles of beach.

This part of the peninsular, is incredibly rugged, back in the day the hiding place for smugglers, with its high cliffs, the coast was notorious for ship wrecks. the area is a feast for the eyes with its stunning views.

We spent the entire morning walking in this side of the cliffs. Every 50mt we had to stop for another detail of the stunning natural scenario

For someone like me from Australis, walking through this forest is amazing. There are wild boar in very large enclosures as they are an endangered species. You may also catch a glimpse of deer and squirrels. The walk is very easy and pleasant

Definitely worth a visit for gorgeous walks or bike rides through the woods and around the lake and then visit the restaurant for a delicious meal.
We had the beef filet and it was absolutely delicious!
    Highly recommend.

The northwest peninsular of cotentin, is a feast for the eyes, with its 128 meter above sea level, cliffs, sights not to miss during a scenic drive, is the Nez, (nose) of Jobourg, an the quaint Port of goury with is norman style lighthouse, we found during the drive it was hard to find an poen restaurant and if they were open it was full, advice would be to pack a picnic, of local cheese bread and ham with cidre of course.
