What travellers are saying
- nswmikeBeerwah, Australia30 contributionsWe went for a walk towards the end of Autumn, so trees were still colorfull. Only other company was a school group (one of the advantages travlling in the cold). The forest is quite big and some of the walks last up to 3 hours. There are cycle and horse paths as well.
I didn't see toilets, but there is a building under construction near the car park which might include them in the future.
Only word of warning is there are signs warning against ticks and specifically Lymes disease.
The forest is easy to get to, colored posts give directions to various paths and a nice place to enjoy the quiet.Written 4 December 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ChristineMarks Point, Australia40 contributionsFor someone like me from Australis, walking through this forest is amazing. There are wild boar in very large enclosures as they are an endangered species. You may also catch a glimpse of deer and squirrels. The walk is very easy and pleasantWritten 20 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Malcolm HBrighton, UK14 contributionsMy wife an I found the site easily, parked easily and followed the walking route with ease. It is not a spectacular place but still very peaceful and beautiful. We picniced in the trees along with quite a few others. This was during COVID 19 and so perhaps there were less visitors in teh hight of summer than there might have been.Written 11 August 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
