- ludmiljazzProvince of Valencia, Spain166 contributionsNothing special if anywhere but near the ocean the place and the itinerary are a proof that Cotentin is offering any kind of landscapes, something as a small representation of what France is (without Alpes). Excellent for picnic.Written 17 May 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alexander LRichmond-upon-Thames, UK2,808 contributionsThe oyster beds are one of the great attractions of St-Vaast-la-Hougue. At low tide you can go out and watch the men at work.
We went to the Ile Tatihou by amphibious vehicle and walked back across the oyster beds. Excellent. We also managed to eat the oysters in one of many cafes and they were very good and fresh.Written 26 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Seemed a little steep at 7 euros per adult for a 20 minutes stroll around.Written 6 July 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - chickandbeastSouthgate, Canada8,553 contributionsPlage de Vauville France has some really spectacular natural sand dunes, nice to see as they are endangered in a lot of places, and I have fond childhood memories of climbing the dunes. It also had some impressive surf, not a surfer, but can see the allure of it. I prefer to just jump the waves.Written 24 November 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- stuart b1 contributionNot recommended, do not buy your tickets online. I bought tickets online for Gulli Le Havre on 07/12/2023 which were automatically switched to 08/12/2023 without any notification. The refunds are only done by French transfer so if you don't have a French bank account you'll have issues. I received an accounting email telling me that a transfer would be made. We are 19/12/2023, still nothing. I sent 3 emails since that remain unanswered. I absolutely do not recommend it.
Written 19 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. In addition to the maze itself, there’s a children’s obstacle course, mini maze, play area and indoor and outdoors games rooms. The owners take great care and pride in the place, the food is simple but great. We’ve visited twice and the change the challenge each year, the clues work on English too.Written 21 August 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - RodeoRob2Melbourne, FL551 contributionsCherbourg is Amazing little town in France, it has amazing little cafes, and pastry shops, bars and great shopping, it also has parks with lakes, castles, butterfly houses and so much history, sitting in the centre having a coffee and a chocolate pastry listening to french music and the people chat, is relaxing, there is a free childrens zoo, a hike up the mountain to a castle, walk along the key and ferry port and shop in one of the many supermarkets for wine and beer and whiskey, its a small french town where the make everybody feel welcomeWritten 8 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
