I took the guided tour of the stadium with my two sons, who are both big football fans. Even though I am not a football fan myself, I found the tour surprisingly interesting and it was a lovely experience to share with them. Keith and Paul, were really pleasant and enthusiastic guides - more than happy to answer any questions. Even my son, who supports another team, thought the visit was great. There was a nice surprise in the press room, but I won't give it away.

Who knew Manchester's industrial past could be so fascinating? We spent HOURS exploring the interactive exhibits and massive machines. The textile demonstrations blew our minds! Surprisingly romantic wandering through the Victorian buildings holding hands. Free entry was a bonus for our budget trip. Absolute must-visit in Manchester!

    A magnificent building
Our visit made perfect by the friendly guide who offered to show us round, interpreting the stained glass windows and giving insight into so many other aspects of the building
    Many thanks

went to see 5 seconds of summer in october 2023, and whilst the show was great i can’t say the same about the venue. my main issue was with the security, i used the entrance up the stairs round the back and although we were checked i feel this wasn’t done very thoroughly and just a quick look in the bag and we were free to go. however my friend used the entrance via the city room through victoria station and was not searched, her tickets were then only checked as she was walking through the doors to the venue. at the end of the concert i exited through the city room leading down to victoria station and saw numerous people just walking straight into the room. following the tragic event that took place the very same way, i would’ve thought they wouldn’t allow this. there was also no security in the city room just one police officer standing watching everyone leaving. i do hope that this arena starts taking the safety of their customers seriously. upsetting to see nothing has changed.

I went here with my three year old and we ended up spending hours here, it is fab! So so welcoming for kids, there are loads of boxes of dressing up, interactive exhibits, things for them to listen to and play with and even a whole kids play area with books and toys. We felt so welcomed, the staff were so helpful and kind and we had such a wonderful time. Currently enjoying their lovely cafe too which had delicious food!

The Pre-Raphaelite collection í stunning - we spent ages debating our favorites. Modern exhibitions were thought-provoking conversation starters. Lovely càé for a romantic cofee break. Not overwhelmingly large, perfect for a couple hours ò cultured wandering. Manchester's hidden treasure!

Lovely Theatre, only downside is why does it need to be cashless?
Only gripe I have with here
Staff all very friendly and ice cream seller was very funny.

Many shops to choose from, came here for Christmas shopping and it did the job! Huge crowds though, but as to be expected as Christmas markets are right outside.

Gin tour experience at Spirit of Manchester Distillery - Three Little Words venue
Lovely experience learning about the distillery, its owners and its history, great host who was friendly and engaging. All staff including front of house and bar staff were really friendly and courteous, drinks were delicious. We will hopefully return to try the food in the future

I'm a massive columns enthusiast as the exterior of this library is something even Praxiteles would say 'Nice' at.

Protesters love it here - there's always something kicking off outside.

As for the inside, it's a decently spacious library and okay facility for small events.
