Fab views of Galway bay, we found it to be a beautiful place, very family friendly and welcoming of dogs too :-D whilst the adults appreciated the scenery the kids enjoyed the beach which was beautiful.
... on the prom in Salthill when visiting, perfect in the sunshine but equally refreshing in the wind and rain!!! Plenty places to stop for a coffee or a meal along the prom and with a stunning view of Galway bay

Start at the Spanish arch and walk up the right side of the river, It is a scenic walkway with a lot of little nooks and side views of the river.
Would recommend to to start of at Woodquaq which has a great view of the Cathedral and continue on through the canals over the salmon weir bridge and finish off at Spanish Arch!

Whenever I make it down to Galway, the 1st thing I do is walk down to the Spanish Arch and go to the Galway City Museum for the best view of the Spanish Arch, the Corrib and the swans :)
Rotating exhibits, lots of local history, many items in the collection from local families, good views of the city from the top floor windows.

The host tutored us as we made the scones, once completed we were taken on a tour of the farm to see the various types of sheep , view a shearing demonstration plus working sheep dog.
YES...it was so much fun to see the dog herd the sheep, see how a sheep is sheered, view the beautiful grounds and experience the Irish hospitality.

The location, the view and the experience was enjoyed by all the team.
... we did not have any at all....We were very well looked after...the food was lovely...staff were organised and efficient...and the view of the race and finishing post was excellent...thoroughly enjoyed it..!!!
