Wonderful gardens managed by OPW. - for all ages. Great place to spend hours in. lots of benches in tucked away places to have your picnic in or eat in their restaurant. In short a total delight. Car park €2, gardens FREE.

This place was a real wow ... have visited sensory gardens before but this is on another level. Beautifully and so impressively done. Loved it and the range of sensory experiences afforded. Highly highly recommended. Lovely cake and coffee too.

I was enchanted by this castle and its gardens. Well worth visiting and taking a tour. I thought the gardens were beautifully kept and looked straight from a fairytale. The peacocks in the courtyard added to the charm.

We enjoyed our excursion to Duckett's Grove. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable sharing the story of the house and family that once lived there.

The tour is outside so we were happy we had rain jackets and umbrellas on the day.

A great camping and caravan site, rustic all the way, a good experience of outdoor camping. Owner and family run the place so well. They have a little takeaway food area with a small shop, toilets and showers and a big enough play area for the kids, they also run a tractor and trailer ride around the grounds for free and sell fire wood on site for that evening time camp fire / bbq

Lovely spot to see if you are nearby. Interesting and unique historic monument and great views. It’s in the middle of a field of crops but the walkway is very nicely done.

Visited this museum today. It'a real gem in Carlow town. Contains a variety of fascinating exhibits, all really well displayed.
Our informative guide Dermot made our visit even more interesting.

A lovely 2 night stay. Only 4 shepherds huts. Spotless and surprisingly cosy. Communal shower area and toilets very clean. Communal kitchen and loft area/lounge lovely for meeting other guests. Lovely outdoor sunny seating area. Breakfast ample and delicious. Mary and Robert and Piper the cat were the perfect hosts. Lots if walks nearby

Yes, it's modern art and it might not tick all your boxes but there are enough different mediums to guarantee something that will catch your attention. For me it was the digital experience and I loved the tree calendar.

This is a lovely place to spend an hour of your time, as it's indoors. Lovely curator, full of history. Check out opening times before you visit, as it's all run on a voluntary basis. Wonderful poignant photos of the actual War. ENJOY!

Visited this very interesting church recently. Both outside and inside are interesting. There are some very fine features inside. I was very lucky to be there for Mass, and hear the very fine choir being accompanied by a fine organist who also played the grand piano.

Gem of a museum, hard to believe how much history is crammed into this tiny tiny building. Our guide was amazing, with encyclopedic knowledge of the area and Irish history in general.

    Don't miss it!

Milford Mills and Lake is such a pretty place to visit. We were there on a tranquil summers evening and it was just idyllic and tranquil.
It was enchanting to stroll along there listening to the birds and the roaring waters and watch the ducks leading their little duckilngs along the water edge and through the waters thenselves.
Wonderful place, we absolutely loved it. Will definitely go back.
