    Thanks Kyle - brilliant bit of canoe instructing
    My companion and I are doing a 6 day canoe expedition in New Zealand in January. We needed some instruction. The centre and Kyle were brilliant at accommodating our needs. The first session was in the rain and the second was in zero degrees. Both times we had a blast. Kyle provided us with good technical know - how with a big dash of enthusiasm and encouragement. We both now feel confident and keen to start our trip.

    Good fun for adults and children!
    Very fun experience for adults and children! We went as a team building exercise with work colleagues and had such a fun time! I wasn’t aware it was there previously, but would definitely recommend it now.

    Very relaxing afternoon on the river
    Took my elderly mother and aunt for afternoon tea and had a wonderful trip. The staff in particular were so accommodating and helpful, making extra sandwiches on the spot for a food intolerance we had not prepared them for and even serving at a time of our choice and outside! Spent the whole trip outside in the sunshine on the small deck at the back (up 10 steps). Not enough space for all passengers but most preferred to remain in doors so not a problem. Afternoon tea was fairly basic but was exactly as expected and we certainly had no complaints. Plenty of jam and cream for the scones! Amazing to see the local area from the river just a shame so few people seem to use the tow path as it would be a lovely walk or cycle ride. Would highly recommend.

    Always welcoming
    It's always a lovely night out with Lone Vigils. You're made to feel welcome by every team member from the minute you arrive. We've had 3 evenings/nights with this group all together and every time we have had a positive experience with lots of laughs (the spirits seem to like the laughter too).
    Looking forward to going out with these guys again.

    Brilliant experience
    Tried wake boarding for the first time and it was so much fun. You get 15 minutes on the water, a break and then another 15 minutes. Adam was friendly and a great instructor, he explained everything wonderfully and I was even standing by the end of it.
    The only recommendation I have is to get a better booking system as I had to ring a few times to book.
    Apart from that would definitely go back, there is paddle boarding and also a inflatable course.

    Excellent Atmosphere and Beers
    Came here after a meal for a friends birthday and was impressed. An amazing selection of beers and ale which we all enjoyed and the decor was good and so was the seating for us all including getting a wheelchair in. Thoroughly enjoyed thanks
