- MichelleIwerne Minster, UK10 contributionsI have been here before but never realised the significance. Apps like this are great at showing us the history that is all around usWritten 24 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Reece ASandown, UK5 contributionsThe park is buried in greenery and its lake creates the perfect picture for a stroll. The scenery is magnificent at any time of year, especially in spring when the many colourful flowers bloom. You can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here while doing yoga or simply reading a book on the grass. A playground and café add to the convenience for families with children. An artificial waterfall is enchanting, providing a pleasant backdrop for relaxation.Written 13 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Madison H10 contributionsExcellent walk however very muddy.
We really enjoyed this walk and the views towards the end are worth climbing through the bogs at the start!
This walk is hilly in places, the start was definitely the hardest with lots of steps. The first half was also extremely muddy, all of the woodland area was a bog. Our shoes/legs were covered in mud (not an issue as we were prepared, but something to be aware of).
If you want to see the views but don’t want to do the whole walk do it in reverse and walk back the same way. You can still see all of the skyline and stay away from the boggy woodland at the start.Written 5 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sandra J37 contributionsVisited one hot afternoon in July with our 2 dogs, found a free on road parking space a short walk from the entrance. The gardens were beautiful, very well kept and maintained, there are lots of benches dotted around and shaded areas among the plants and trees. The cafe was open and looked busy and inviting. Dogs should be kept on a lead, ours were, others weren't, which is a shame when there are plenty of signs to remind you!
Overall a fantastic place for a stroll with the dogs and the rest of the park is next door where dogs can be let off the lead for a run around.Written 8 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Set in a delightful building over a couple of floors. Staff are very welcoming. Some displays whulich vary through the year can also vary in price, but the upstairs is free. - Reece ASandown, UK5 contributionsHad a bangin' time there, I did! The vibe's dead friendly, animals all over the shop, and cracking spots for a stroll. Spot on for a family day out, it is. Loved getting stuck in with feedin' the animals and the bits for the little 'uns. Personally, I was proper chuffed with the views of the city.
Only thing, reckon a bit more info 'bout the farm wouldn't 'urt. top-notch spot for a good ol' chinwag with nature.Written 8 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It was a lovely walk despite the inclement weather but at least we were dry whilst walking through the tunnels.
It's good not only walking but also for cyclists and next time, I may just dust off my bike and cycle all the way to Bath Green Park Station - now Sainsburys !
The pathway is tarmaced and Combe Down Tunnel has great lighting.Written 9 November 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jay BFairhope, AL1,058 contributionsWe traversed Milsom Street several times during our stay in Bath. This is a wonderfully preserved area brimming with a diverse selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Many other such establishments and attractions are just a short walk away. At times you will see street musicians playing as well. If in Bath, you need to include a Milsom Street visit in your itinerary!Written 17 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
