What travellers are saying
- Kenny D4 contributionsSimply one of my favourite places on Earth. Hospitality in the Carlsberg Dugout Lounge is incredible, try the Lamb Pan Of Scouse!!Written 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kenny D4 contributionsThe Liverpool Waterfront is absolutely stunning. The Royal Albert Dock is beautiful and The Royal Liver Building is my favourite building in the World.Written 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

So much better than I anticipated, so different from most other cathedrals in the uk . RecommendWritten 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - tomalli68Falkirk, UK584 contributionsWorth taking a couple of hours to visit this lovely museum. Lovely modern building which great views. Some interesting exhibits and at least the interactive sections were available. We were unlucky on our visit as there was a few school trips there at the same time which spoilt it a bit, more so the older kids having a carry on out of sight of the teachers, sitting in doorways of toilets blocking them from other visitors - they could have learnt how to behave from the little kids that were there. Overall this museum is great for a visit and it's free.Written 22 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- tomalli68Falkirk, UK584 contributionsStatue of the world famous beatles. Very busy tourist stop with many posing for a picture. People generally very respectful of each other allowing each to take their turn as well as offering to take each couples/family shot for them which was nice to see. Overall though it is just a statue and I couldn't say it's a must see.Written 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Andrea DOrlando, FL39 contributionsWe were on a cruise. We took a walking tour of Liverpool that included the Beatles Museum. We received headsets for the tour. The experience was very good. My only complaint was that it was too crowded. I think it would be better if they had timed entrance tickets like a lot of museums are doing now. We were in a group of 30 ourselves. We encountered a large group of schoolchildren soon after we entered. I did enjoy the exhibits and the nostalgia associated with it.Written 17 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Adrian WLeicester, UK4 contributionslet the atmosphere and history soak in, a remarkable museum, definitely worth a visit or two.... Really enjoyed.Written 24 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- LivelaneSurrey, UK78 contributionsA very interesting museum if you are interested in maritime history, North Atlantic convoys or the slave trade.
There are some really poignant and thought provoking exhibits covering all. As with most museums of this type there is also a large exhibit area devoted to the Titanic.
As has been previously stated in other reviews it is a little dark and is a bit of a maze. It is quite easy to walk around and miss exhibits, there are a great number of them.
It is free to enter, with a gift shop on the lower floor. We visited mid week and it was fairly quiet, however you may encounter some school parties at these times.
Well worth the visit if you are in the city.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - 923DanSwindon, UK2,880 contributionsOnly visited the Liverpool Central Library by accident as it was raining and i had 30 minutes to kill before the World Museum opened.
Lovely quiet spot to read the newspaper in stunning building.
Impressive internal staircases.
The old reading room has an acoustic echo that adds to the ambiance.Written 18 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Jill51 contributionsWe enjoyed our stop by this exhibit while we were in Liverpool. Lots of Beatles info in Liverpool, and this museum has a nod to them as well but it also focuses on so many other influential acts from the UK as well.Written 23 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RussSurrey, UK10 contributionsGreat experience for visitors to Liverpool who won't get to see much of the city from the ground! We had planned to visit on our first day in Liverpool, but the weather was wet and cloudy so we decided to leave it and hope for better weather the next day, which was granted.
360 views of Liverpool in the sun, be it with many clouds still, is just stunning, more than worth the money to go up, but I do wish there was a coffee shop or something similar at the top so we could have relaxed with the views.
A great experience for tourists all the same!Written 9 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - DaveLisaHollyOrpington, UK173 contributionsBeen here 4 times now and it is amazing place to visit and its free. - Who K1 contributionIt's great to see what goes on behind closed doors. To walk down the tunnel to z cars was something amazingWritten 15 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- tomalli68Falkirk, UK584 contributionsVisted during the daytime and the evening. By day it was fairly quiet, easy to move around, plenty space in the local pubs etc. We went to rubber soul - £2.50 a pint Mon -Thurs so really cannot complain about it being expensive. By evening it becomes very busy, music belting out from every pub, some live music, some general music played by the pub. Can imagine this area would be a nightmare with stag, hen parties and the likes. Very much a tourist trap. Whilst original cavarn club was torn down years ago it was good to see the area that was the hub for many an iconic band. If you're not too keen on large crowns then go by day and take on some of the atmosphere.Written 20 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
