- Trishnpanama3 contributionsWe were staying at our favorite beach resort, Las Lajas Beach Resort, and they arranged for us to do a whale watching tour with Step by Step Travel. We were picked up on time and had a most enjoyable trip with our driver, Mike. When we arrived at Boca Chica our captain, Captain Jay, was waiting for us. He was the perfect guide. He knew where the whales were and kept a respectful distance from them. He also took us to a great snorkeling reef and two beautiful islands. Even though we have lived in Panama for 17 years, this experience was an exceptional one and one we will always remember. - Meander7505099 contributionsThis was a fun trip to see some islands off Boca Chica in the bay. We did get to see some whales which was a highlight. We spent a lot of time on 3 beaches and wish the snorkeling would have been better. Some tips: bring cash to pay for lunch if you do not bring lunch. If you speak English you will not understand as the staff only speak Spanish which was not a problem for us. - Exploration7095041 contributionI went with my grandchildren on a tour with Daniel. Everything was amazing, we saw many dolphins, whales and spend a wonderful time in Gamez Island.

Saw some amazing beaches and open water. They have a great vessel, a Grady White and it was very comfortable out on the water. The attention to detail is very good to see.
