The best beach in Porto Covo according to us. We went back twice as the views are amazing and you can be at ease - not crowded at all. A small lagoon forms when the tide is going up - making it even more fantastic. Place to return.

We went with Mestre Joaquim Matias (the official tour guide) and it was amazing! So much history and stories of the island. Really knowledgeable and friendly. The island is beautiful and great spot to visit! Highly recommend it.

Beautiful beach surrounded by cliffs. When it's low tide you can walk to the two adjacent beaches. Great for kids to play between the rocks with a fishnet.
When the tide is high the water gets deep quite quickly.

The beach has a nice bar with good food.

Have been 2 weeks ago. Not easy to find. Just before the big curve to arrive to Porto Covo town.
Rock stairs to go down. No services, no bar but you have a guy who sells cold drinks and sandwiches.
Water really clear and easy to go in. Cold water.
We have been during a fog day.

A small and well kept historic center with a few bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. Worth a visit if you're closeby.

It's a really nice beach, small and quiet. Maybe to small, it would fit around 5,6 groups of towels. But is just amazing. The view is breathtaking. Windy though.

Comfortable, fit and ever-willing horses. Always ready to pick up the pace, but also completely controlled on the beach in an Atlantic gale.
Great riding and varied scenery. Sandy tracks went on forever and you certainly need to be riding fit. We were on the 5-day trail ride and the format works really well.
Excellent food. Such variety and tasty home cooking for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not so sure about the octopus, but all part of the experience!.
Above all amazing hospitality from all of the team. Only wish we’d learnt a bit of Portuguese.
We will long remember the final ride home in a gale force wind, when we deferred lunch, rode long and hard but the horses still didn’t put a foot wrong all day.
Many thanks Claudia, Paolo and team.

Read a bit about the Rota Vicentina and thought it was for me, day 1 was a wash out as there was a huge storm so I started at Milfontes, had a great first day, lots of cliffs and lots of breakers, it was sunny but a good breeze kept me cool. Stayed on the Fishermans way as. Far as Odeceixe then joined the Historical trail which is inland, followed the water channel from Odeceixe to Rogil, great walk but I should have turned left when the channel met the road then a right immediately before the village square. Walked along the cliffs, through fields and fields of beautiful smelling flowers, very quiet and peaceful. I booked the luggage service which was spot on, no issues, met a mate for the last two days to the cape, great walk!
