Amazing walk with several different types of terrain. Beautiful falls. Lovely clear water.
Lovely bush. Amazing views. Did it in the time they advised and we were a bit unwell. An absolute highlight of our trip.

A great place to go to see the things that helped develop our country. Extensive collections of everyday items from as far back as the first settlers. The water turbine is in restoration and is one of a kind, it will be fantastic to see this monster operating again.
I hope the woolshed can be restored as well as its such an iconic building. Me and my mother stuck in there for some photos many many years ago, it would be great to have it safe enough to do so again.
We also used catering and had a lovely spread in the onsite "cafe"

What a unique birthday celebration! Fill a big balloon with friends & family and float aimlessly above the colourful patchwork of Canterbury farmland, riverbed and foothills at sunrise. It's truly beautiful. And incredibly peaceful. There's really nothing comparable to this experience. And only an hour from home! We'll be back!
