we visited three islands as a tour. murano was nice we visited a glass factory. it had a store inside but we bought same items much cheaper from stores outside the factory. torcello was very down and waste of time. again burano was better with colorful houses and small souvenir stores. the other day we visited Lido island which is very beautiful island with nice sandy beach which I recommend more

Our tour guide 'Ketty' was fabulous, very knowledgeable and passionate about the area. The private boat was great. Murano and the glass scene there is amazing and Burano is an adorable village that we will return to and spend more time in! Wondefful authentic lunch in Burano. Highly recommended tour.

The excursion was very nice, a big Bonus was the glass blowing Presentation, wich was very cool.

The only minor Point for improvement for us would be slightly less people on the boat, that would be nice, it was a little too close for comfort sometimes.

Positives: the boats run on schedule, the boat staff were friendly, the boats were clean and uncrowded. When I called to get further information, they were responsive and helpful. We had a delightful tour of the islands and practically had the boat to ourselves.

Areas for improvement: Communication in advance was lacking. The schedule we found was incorrect, and the meeting point information non-existent. We had no idea where to meet the boat in San Marcos until I called their number. Since we had an old version of the schedule, we missed an earlier departure, and had less time to visit the islands. The tour operator should send a correct link to the schedule, etc. in advance. I recommend that once you have your reservation confirmed, call the number for Venetiana to get the schedule and meeting points in advance of your specified day for the tour.

Finding the place to actually exchange our vouchers for tickets was a little challenging as the directions provided give a goggle map spot that is incorrect and the description of the colour of the stands umbrella is actually wrong! (the lady said that they knew the directions were wrong and that they had changed the colour of the umbrella, so may have been helpful to update the website - but, nonetheless we found it.
We did not manage to get a main seat so sat at the side near the front which afforded us a good view but we could not hear the commentary at all! The tour guide was speaking in about 5 different languages one after the other but not sure where the speakers were as we did not really understand anything (just caught the odd word) which was a shame.
At Murano the glass blowing was interesting to watch but there was not really time to actually do much else - we just about had time to grab an ice-cream before having to head back to the boat.
Burano was beautiful, so unique and colourful, loved wandering around and took several pictures before settling at a cafe for a drink.
Would have liked to have had more time on each island to actually make the most of the visit, but, all in all, a good day.

The day trip was well organised and on time. Enough time was allowed to visit each island. Tour guide on the boat was very knowledgeable and spoke several languages. Venice is a lovely place to visit.

Our guide, Mina, was fabulous! He was very knowledgeable about the history and current ways of life and industry on the islands. The Murano Glass tour was mind-blowing! We bought 3 pieces to ship home. There is a 12 room gallery, so after the demonstration, be sure to take your time! Burano is so beautiful with the bright colored buildings and plentiful shops to buy handmade lace goods. Torcello is a quiet, quick walking visit, but so pretty!

Fillipo was an excellent guide with lots of local knowledge and information. We found out about the beautiful racing gondolas in the boat yard and thoroughly enjoyed kayaking through the quiet, hidden away lagoon waterways. We saw wild flamingos, locals using traditional fishing methods and curious goats, it was like stepping back in time. Fabulous, memorable tour, highly recommended

Great private tour with Arianna....super friendly and informative. Catered to our every need. Made our excursion worth it. Walked us around and answered all of our questions...demonstration at the glass factory was great...took us to a local lace shop were staff gave us detailed history of the trade. Great tour with Arianna...would definitely recommend.

We booked because of great reviews While boat driver was good - guide (Mrs Rossella) was HORRIBLE…we paid for 3 islands only got two - she said you don’t want to go torcello and when I said we paid for it she yelled at me and said it was no good…she left us on both Murano and Burano for “free” time which we didn’t want… we wanted to be guided…she was rude & irritating…. I got back and watched a YouTube video and learned more about the island. So disappointed and upset…DO NOT BOOK this tour or specifically ask for a different guide other than Mrs Rossella

The excursion was well organized, it met the program and it is a good opportunity to get to know the 3 islands if you only have one day in Venice, although 45 minutes at each stop is a bit short to see them properly, especially Murano where you can see process of making glass things, we have seen little horse-great!. They recommend you to visit some monuments inside, but there is not really enough time for it. It's all a bit rushed. Burano the most colourful island, Torecello tbh not that exciting, we had drinks there.

Our family (with three teenage boys) had a great time with Valerio touring the Jewish quarter and Canareggio, Murano, Burano and Mazzorbo. In addition to the traditional tourist attractions he showed us an amazing, world class glass exhibition, secret gardens, other hidden gems and local restaurants. He went out of his way to make sure we all had a great experience and really managed to exceed the expectations of our youngest (a history buff) as well. We learned so much about Venice and the surrounding areas. He gave us many suggestions/ recommendations for our remaining days. He also came and had a drink with us, really nice to hang out with a local. We would recommend going on one of his tours, either tailored to your needs or simply select one of the "standard" tours on your first day in Venice so that you better understand the ins and outs of the city.

Boat from Punta Sabbioni to Venice and then onto Murano and Burano - well worth doing - a couple of hours in Venice followed by a 30 min boat trip to Murano . Attended a glass blowin demo and then some free tim before another 30 min trip to Burano which is a beautiful island.

Great way to see Venice and then the islands - our guide was a mine of useful information.

Everything was perfect! The company had a representative at the boat dock with maps & schedules. They explained everything to us and it made it very easy.
