What travellers are saying
- greeneyes630Maugansville, MD687 contributionsWe bought tickets for the evening light show. We were given the opportunity to walk around the Cathedral before and after the show. The light show was okay. I don’t think there is more the choreographers could do. Husband hated the lasers. I just love the church and artifacts. It’s a beautiful church.Written 9 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

They also have tonnes of activities during the day and night; you will never be bored.Written 1 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andrew W2 contributionsNever a dull moment and always a great view to soak in and an experience never to forget. Before leaving Montreal don't forget to stop by here at least for 30 mins. It's such a great viewWritten 7 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- TheMahdiBoracay, Philippines164 contributionsIt's a beautiful and historical place and has a good terrace for photo taking asside from the different parts to visit inside.
I think it was the largeat basilica i saw in Montreal. And has different levels and make sure to visit all of them since you are already there.
The interior design of the main chapel was simpler than what i expected (comparing to ther churches and basilicas in Montreal but its minimal design still is beautiful.
I believe in summer it has a better garden view and in summer usually they do the necessary repairs.
Yoi have access through bus and after the main entrance wgich is the Parking gate you shall wait for the Shuttle to bring you up to the 5th level of basilica where the main entrance and exit is located.
Remember my review is in Dec and winter season. I believe this changes in summer.Written 17 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. During our visit, we saw all four floors of the Pavilion for Peace and the Georgia O’Keefe and Henry Moore exhibit. Everything was arranged really well with legible and interesting signage and descriptions. There were plenty of places to stop and take a seat throughout the Pavilion of Peace, which was much appreciated. The cafe was small but what I had (chicken salad sandwich) was solid for museum food! I am definitely hoping to return before the end of our trip.Written 13 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Larry10803Pelham, NY200 contributionsLoved this market! So many options for fresh fruits, vegetables, prepared food, desserts, even flowers! Open air but covered market with a great variety of vendors. Underground and inexpensive parking is available. Also close to the Italian section if so inclined. Highly recommend!! If you enjoy going to markets do not miss this one.Written 17 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jess_the_TravelBug143 contributionsA very cool museum exploring the historical old city of Montreal. Loved the history and being able to see how the various time periods and construction overlapped. Could be a bit confusing at times to navigate with some back tracking but still a highlight of the tripWritten 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amilcar GuzmanHarwood Heights, IL545 contributionsMy wife and I visited the Old Port during a trip to Montreal and loved it. This port is very similar to Chicago’s Navy Pier. - Joanna WHoboken, NJ132 contributionsFun to walk and pop in to stores, be sure to read the history so you study the buildings and not just the art stores. Beautiful at night but more open during the day.Written 19 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Chloe ThomasRussell Springs, KY986 contributionsMy mother and I had looked forward to visiting the Barbie museum in Montreal for months leading up to our trip.
We were scared a few weeks before as it said temporarily closed, but did not stress as this seems to happen often and for short periods of time.
The expo is free and inside a shopping center, which can be a bit tricky to find if you are not familiar with the area. Admission is free.
We were amazed at all the Barbie’s. Each section was themed such as cultural, wedding, celebrity, fashion, and so on.
Some people could get through the expo in 15 minutes, but we probably spent an hour here admiring the beautiful dolls.
Great for all ages.Written 13 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
