There are so many great beaches along the Bay of Conception to camp at that you can spend a whole winter down there. There are usually bathrooms available at most beaches but no power or water. Locals have a thriving business going from beach to beach daily selling water, food, fresh squeezed juices, trinkets, etc..I came down towing a trailer and fell in love with Mulege, I'm still here.

A jewel bi the river .Speial quiet and relaxing place. Beautuful construccion.
Welcoming bed and breakfast if you want to escape from the crowds...walk by the river , read a book, do your yoga or even Lena invites you to her Chi-gon class.
Lena and Kris are great and run this place with pride.
Place for special people who loves nature ,if you are one of them Casa Granada is for you.
Lena and Krist patiently answer a lot of e-mails while us being in the road before arriving since we need to change some plans in our long trip from LA to south of baja. Thanks

This beach is beautiful, but keep in mind there's a charge of $200 pesos to come into the beach and that there are limited palapas. Even though this beach is not free access, this does mean you can camp, bathe and park safely, 24/7. This is a nice place to spend the day

This little excursion was worth it. Located in a very small town with not much to do. Price was cheap, like $5.00. It was a self guided tour.Does't tell you much about the history so read up before you go. Has lots of stairs to reach it so beware if stairs are a challenge for you. Overall a nice hour was spent experiencing this old prison.

Ive been to playa Sandispack and the bay of conception many tmes. Its a great stop for a couple/ few days on your way South and back north.
It does get busy usually from a week or two after Thanksgiving through March. The beach can hold about 30 vehicles but there are only 5-6 palapas. It cost $10 US. Its very safe and the venders stop by every morning with their fresh breads, fish, fruits, etc.

Salvatore took us to San Borjitas Cave Paintings in the Sierra de Guadeloupe. It was a long ride, but a fantastic experience for all. His historical knowledge and professionalism were awesome and greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend him as a Mulege area guide.
