The boat crew were all welcoming and very hospitable. - john wilsonColorado Springs, CO7 contributionsThis is a must do when visiting Cancun. Three tours in one; Tulum, swimming with the turtles and the cenote (underground river). You spend the right amount of time at each attraction, you see everything you want without seeming too long or getting bored. Ishmael is a great guide, keeps you informed of what to expect and knows all the ins and outs of getting around the crowds. He provides discussions of the sites and the history behind them.
The tour picked us up/dropped off at our hotel and provided a traditional Mexican lunch. You will be gone all day, this is 12 hours start to finish, you may want to bring some food for a mid morning snack as lunch is not provided until a little later in the afternoon. This a small group tour (no more than 12 people) so getting to know others in your group made the experience that much more interesting. Ishmael paid special attention to some of the folks that were less adventurous or unsure of some of the activities. It took a little convincing for some folks to get into the cenote, he was particularly patient and reassuring and all of us had a great time.

I'd personally recommend this over the other cenote tours since you see both a closed cenote (the underground river) and an open one. Our tour ended with a perfect lunch at a local restaurant recommended by Laura. - Lucy AFairfax, VA1 contributionWe had the most amazing yatch experience today. The crew was great. Chef Avi made the most delicious meals and would not stop the food from coming. The breakfast, snack and lunch was really delicious. Marciel the bartender made so nice drinks and he also helped us in the water to make sure we didn't die lol. The captain was kind. Constantly checking in to make sure we were ok and asking what we wanted to drink and eat.
Last but not least, Emma the host, really took care of us. She was so kind and served us with a smile on her face each time.

- marla247Roanoke, VA84 contributionsWhile the initial boarding process was significantly delayed, the experience was quite enjoyable and the staff went out of their way to cater to the passengers. When they said “all you want to drink” they did not disappoint the thirstiest of us. The location where you were let off to swim was idealistic and many of the group snorkeled to a nearby reef. The meal was good and they were willing and able to make substitutions as previously requested. - Gun G1 contributionI want to personally commend Ulises. From start to finish Ulises was full of non stop positive energy and mind blowing knowledge about all aspects of Mexican/ Mayan culture. My wife and I were very pleased with the process. From the cenotes, the photographs he took, the restaurantes and even the music of his choice was a blast. When we return we will definitely be reaching out to Ulises to do it all again! - Michael PNew York City, NY77 contributionsThese guys are the best!! We booked the private sailboat yacht through Vanessa. She was extremely pleasant and easy to communicate with via e-mail. She set everything up & ensured us that the driver would be picking us up at our hotel & would bring us to the marina and back to hotel once excursion was over, no need to worry about anything. Our driver, Oliver was on time & such a great guy. He had refreshments, beers, water a super clean vehicle with good music. Once on board we met our captains Mr. Jorge & Manuel. They had caught a fresh Mahi Mahi earlier that morning and were excited to prepare it for us. The instructed us of safety procedures and where to find life jackets & then we were on our way. The ride was beautiful. I was traveling with my 2 year old daughter and the waves made her sleepy but luckily there were two beds below deck for her to safely take a nap. I would advise you to take Drammine incase you get motion sickness, sailboats ride alot different then a speed boat fo I was glad we all took some half hour before we got on the boat. They prepared us fresh ceviche, mixed drinks, beers, and slammin margaritas. The boat then brought us to the beautiful Cozumel island. Here, we were able to shop, eat, sightsee for as long as we wanted & then we took the ferry to Playa Del Carmen. Both Playa Del Carmen & Cozumel are very safe to walk around. Vanessa & Oliver were in constant communication with us via WhatsApp so that he can meet us at the Playa Del Carmen ferry to drive us back to the hotel. Vanessa also has an office in Playa Del Carmen so if you want to book any additional tours, etc.. she can arrange it all for you right there & she is super helpful and friendly.
