- Nicole GParis, France4 contributionsLovely beach for swimming with kids. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Chairs and umbrellas easily available. Lots of locals so it feels less touristy but bring water and snacks as absolutely nothing available thereWritten 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dansker58San Francisco, CA438 contributionsGreat place to walk and enjoy the atmosphere. The sand is soft. Lots of easy access to the beach. There are lots of restaurants on the beach offering shade and great views. Ther are a lot of vendors walking by but if this annoys you best not to engage. Chairs can also be rented for a beach experience. Very clean.Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - martitaCalifornia4 contributionsIt was a good experience visiting playa del amor (love’s beach) but it is only good for a couple hours at most and for taking some pictures, there is really not much to do there i could call it a short and sweet experienceWritten 3 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tinaNtravelSan Jose, CA2,011 contributionsThis beach is in a cove about 20 minutes north of Cabo. We took an Uber. The beach has a bathroom and an outside shower to rinse off, near the parking lot. Bring shoes, as the beach is very large/long and is mostly a rock/pebble beach. Near and in the water is soft sand rather than rocks. It seems this is a place for boats from Cabo to stop – as when we first arrived, 4-5 boats were anchored offshore. There are also a couple of hotels in the area with seats on the beach for their guests. A few of us went snorkeling near the rocks on the side of the cove and it was fantastic. In addition to a lot of fish, they saw a manta ray and a Morey eel. We left in the evening – and I was wondering how long we would have to wait for an Uber ride back to Cabo. To my surprise an Uber was there in 1 minute.Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brad S10 contributionsVery pretty views and swimming at lovers beach and walking to watch the large waves at divorce beach was fun
Listed in guide for $60 but vendor gave our group of 4 a $25 each deal USDWritten 27 November 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The guys on the beach are very helpful to get you and off the boats!Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tinaNtravelSan Jose, CA2,011 contributionsWe stopped here twice because the snorkeling is amazing. There are a ton of fish, especially near the rock itself that is just off shore. There were a number of people climbing Pelican Rock and jumping into the ocean as well. The beach itself has a lot of large rocks and so it isn’t the place to sit on the beach – but instead, to be in the water. A number of tours can take you to Pelican Rock and pick you up again. The first time, we took Santiago Tours for $20 per person. They were one of the many vendors selling tours on Medano Beach. The second time, we took Cabo San Lucas Tours for $19 per person which included snorkel equipment. Both tours took us first to the arch and around Lover’s/Divorce beaches and then dropped us off at our choice, which was Pelican Rock. We picked the time we wanted to be picked up and, in both cases, the boat returned, on time.Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sam F2 contributionsI reallllly enjoyed relaxing here. Cool view and vibe! It was pretty empty, from 7 am -10:30 am. Lots of local guys tried to engage with me - friendly enough, but by the 10th one in 10 mins, as I left. I was getting annoyed. I doubt this would have happened if I wasn’t alone, but I’m alone because… that’s what I want. All safe feeling - just many people wanting to chat. Maybe good if you want thatWritten 24 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Matt l1 contributionWere there when the humpback whales were migrating through. Lots of them. Took a water taxi to lovers beach and divorce beach and saw many whales from the beach. Water taxi driver took us out to see whales by boat as well for a small extra fee. Felt very safe where ever we went. Other than airport, Uber was everywhere. Cabo Wabo was cool if you are into rock music. Vendors were typical aggressive selves, but very polite as long as you as polite as well. Nice city to visit.Written 19 February 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- SquiffyBoyCoventry, UK76 contributionsWow what an amazing experience, Quivira was everything we had hoped for and more. Superb ocean front practice facilities, an immaculate golf course in first class condition, fast running greens and carpet like fairways.
The course itself is best described as like nothing I have played before, Ocean holes 6th, 7th and 14th are just spectacular with a number of other different & strong holes, drive on 17th comes with a stunning view.
Think Old Head/Pebble Beach on steroids and you’re not far off, good pace of play and back in the clubhouse after 5 hours which might sound like a long round, given 3 stops and a number of lengthy drives between holes felt very acceptable.
Found the course very playable, wide fairways and good range of tee boxes to suit all handicaps, add to this the 3 half way houses one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I’ve played if you get chance do it, you won’t regret it, so good I played it twice in 3 days!
The downside if there is one is the outskirts of the course are put simply a building site although this was quickly excused for me by the uniqueness and overall quality of the course.Written 10 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We went as couples. Had the best time. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home.
Kayla at the clubhouse was awesome and took great care of our group.

My kids loved this place and my bf especially loved it because it was a whole lot calmer then the craziness in Medano Beach where every second you’re being bombarded by Mexicans to buy their stuff. This place actually felt like a vacation. Wish we had stayed longer then just a half day.Written 21 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Daniel FComox, Canada1 contributionOn January 23rd 2024 we went into San Jose del Cabo to check out the downtown area, which is lovely. We Met Jose, Jose works for a company that sells adventures. We bought 2 adventures from him and paid on the spot, no issues there. Jose stated we were only to enjoy the facilities amenities and write a nice review. ( I did my research before going and saw most of the reviews were mixed at best)
On the receipt it states "This is not a time share presentation". That's completely false that's exactly what it was. (Like a Scuby-doo adventure villain reveal) Jose said he would meet us at the resort we had to go to, that never happened. I knew from the start what I was getting into so I was expecting all of this.
The next day me and my family drive out to Diamante resort in my rented car. (Cactus rental has been great so far, but as of writing this I haven't returned the car and encountered what happens afterwords)
We arrive and our car is taken by the valet, we are taken to have the breakfast we were promised, it was great, the food was good.
I'll attach a picture of the receipt that stated it was not a time share presentation, because what followed was exactly that. During breakfast I'm told we are on a 2 hour presentation, on the back of our receipt it stated 90 minutes.... Whatever. I set my timer for 2 hours.
The tour starts with a viewing of the rooms, grounds, pools, beach, and so on. We arrive back at the sales area. We are discussing options and prices as one does in a time share presentation when my 2 hour timer goes off. At this point my kids are losing their minds and I keep mentioning they are ready to use the pool, deaf ears. After finishing our meeting with the original salesman, who was very professional and kind, we talk to Lynn. Lynn was visibly disappointed at our refusal to sign anything and wouldn't let us leave until we signed out, unfortunately, my wife went with the kids to the washrooms. I ran out and managed to catch them before they took off after the bathroom break to grab some sunscreen for the pool.
We talked to 2 more people after Lynn about different options and then finally someone who took an exit review interview. It then takes me an additional 20 minutes with the receptionist to book our 2 adventures and get our day pass for the resort. We did receive it all, but it was false pretense.
The day pass was more of a two hour pass with all the time it took to get past the "timeshare presentation" and our schedule for the first adventure at 230.
The lagoon was great the staff were friendly and I'd be glad to stay there. I was really hoping for something other than a timeshare meeting, but that's exactly what it was.
Don't let the adventure salesmen fool you in town and the stores, they are selling a time share presentation with some adventures afterwords that you have already paid for. "Fractional ownership" is another, not even cleverly disguised, word for time share presentation.
Overall the resort was great. The creative tales you are told to get you there are not. Yes you get a cheap rate on the adventures, but beware, there is the additional cost of your time and stress incurred by the presentation. It wasn't high pressure but it also wasn't over in 90 minutes or even 2 hours, it took around 3 hours from the start to a when we were allowed to enjoy our day pass and have our excursions booked.
I have no doubt Diamante resort will be great for anyone who stays there. The lagoon was amazing, the pools were kid friendly and clean, there was a plethora of lifeguards, and we did thoroughly enjoy our 2 hours there.Written 25 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I did the 40 min experience and totally recommend. We got lots of hands-on time with the dolphins! It felt sufficient. The staff take amazing care of the dolphins, too! They are so happy and friendly!Written 14 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
