Lodge was beautiful and staff was terrific. Rooms were lovely as was the grounds. Stayed one night before going to Ngorongoro Crater.

Wow what an amazing experience, Quivira was everything we had hoped for and more. Superb ocean front practice facilities, an immaculate golf course in first class condition, fast running greens and carpet like fairways.

The course itself is best described as like nothing I have played before, Ocean holes 6th, 7th and 14th are just spectacular with a number of other different & strong holes, drive on 17th comes with a stunning view.

Think Old Head/Pebble Beach on steroids and you’re not far off, good pace of play and back in the clubhouse after 5 hours which might sound like a long round, given 3 stops and a number of lengthy drives between holes felt very acceptable.

Found the course very playable, wide fairways and good range of tee boxes to suit all handicaps, add to this the 3 half way houses one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf I’ve played if you get chance do it, you won’t regret it, so good I played it twice in 3 days!

The downside if there is one is the outskirts of the course are put simply a building site although this was quickly excused for me by the uniqueness and overall quality of the course.

Played this course after playing Campestre. Enjoyed this one far more. The greens were less severe and the course was more forgiving around the greens because there were fewer arroyos. A good practice area. Reasonably wide fairways. Some fantastic views of the Sea of Cortez. Price was high but that seems true of everything in Cabo. Around $200 US for 2:00PM twilight. The starter sent me off solo and I played through a group and finished in under 3 hours.

The afternoon didn't start well since they had no record of my reservation (prepaid) so I had to show them the confirmation email. After 10 minutes in the pro shop, they said they would sort it out and come find me if they couldn't sort it.

Then I went to hit balls and an attendant asked if I wanted to go early. I said I would know after hitting balls. I hit a couple dozen balls and then drove back to the cart lot and they told me to go to the starter. I got out 30 minutes early. Played fast and through a foursome - finished in 3 hours.

Course is an interesting layout. Tighter off the tee than Campestre. The front 9 was burned out in many places. Wind was bizarre and seemed to come from different directions all the time, maybe it flows down the canyons.

What a course ! From the hacienda style clubhouse to the views , nothing comes to mind other than WOW.

We went as couples. Had the best time. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home.

Kayla at the clubhouse was awesome and took great care of our group.

We cannot wait to go back !

If you're lucky enough to receive an invitation to the private El Dorado Club, by all means take it.

From the moment you arrive at the unmarked entrance gate, you know this place is special. Entrance is by INVITATION ONLY. There are no rentals accommodations available to the general public here. An owner must make direct arrangements for your access to stay in one of their units.

Everything is what you'd expect from a club that caters to the ultra wealthy, celebrities and sports stars. Hollywood celebrities are frequently seen jogging the roads, playing golf or lounging by the pool. Privacy and respect are expected of all guests and owners.

Your every whim is anticipated. The "comfort stations" along the golf course offer snacks, drinks, an open bar and shade to sit and rest. The open air palapas restaurant is spectacular, as well (of course you can sit inside if you desire).

Private drivers can pick you up at the Cabo jet center, whisk you to your unit where you're greeted by a fully stocked refrigerator.

This is a true 5-star private resort. How the one-percenters live!

The views, the soft sand, calm and warmer water, the millions of tropical fish you could see even without a snorkeling set just amazing!! My kids loved this place and my bf especially loved it because it was a whole lot calmer then the craziness in Medano Beach where every second you’re being bombarded by Mexicans to buy their stuff. This place actually felt like a vacation. Wish we had stayed longer then just a half day.

Set up a group during my wedding week with Sol Guzman who was fantastic! Prompt follow ups, made sure I was getting everything in timely and even for my other rounds facilitated setting up the tee times. Couldn't have gone more smoothly which was fantastic as I had many other things on my mind.

Highly recommend their service, and the golf courses were great as well. Some awesome views and definitely some challenging holes. The triple play package to play all 3 courses was a nice value as well. Overall a great experience!

This is a great track and was impressed with the layout and course condition. The staff and practice facilities were fantastic. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is due to rental equipment. Even though they were TAylor made M6 the putter (mini Spider) looked like a toy. I wished I would of brought my own clubs.

Defiantly a play it again course.

Golfed here twice - was less expensive than Quivira and nearby. Course was very nice - desert feel, with also some wide open rolling greens too. We rented nice clubs. Shouldn’t complain, but man was it expensive for a course not too crowded at all (+200$pp). But it was cheaper than comps, people were nice, and course was our own for two days!

On January 23rd 2024 we went into San Jose del Cabo to check out the downtown area, which is lovely. We Met Jose, Jose works for a company that sells adventures. We bought 2 adventures from him and paid on the spot, no issues there. Jose stated we were only to enjoy the facilities amenities and write a nice review. ( I did my research before going and saw most of the reviews were mixed at best)

On the receipt it states "This is not a time share presentation". That's completely false that's exactly what it was. (Like a Scuby-doo adventure villain reveal) Jose said he would meet us at the resort we had to go to, that never happened. I knew from the start what I was getting into so I was expecting all of this.

The next day me and my family drive out to Diamante resort in my rented car. (Cactus rental has been great so far, but as of writing this I haven't returned the car and encountered what happens afterwords)
We arrive and our car is taken by the valet, we are taken to have the breakfast we were promised, it was great, the food was good.

I'll attach a picture of the receipt that stated it was not a time share presentation, because what followed was exactly that. During breakfast I'm told we are on a 2 hour presentation, on the back of our receipt it stated 90 minutes.... Whatever. I set my timer for 2 hours.

The tour starts with a viewing of the rooms, grounds, pools, beach, and so on. We arrive back at the sales area. We are discussing options and prices as one does in a time share presentation when my 2 hour timer goes off. At this point my kids are losing their minds and I keep mentioning they are ready to use the pool, deaf ears. After finishing our meeting with the original salesman, who was very professional and kind, we talk to Lynn. Lynn was visibly disappointed at our refusal to sign anything and wouldn't let us leave until we signed out, unfortunately, my wife went with the kids to the washrooms. I ran out and managed to catch them before they took off after the bathroom break to grab some sunscreen for the pool.

We talked to 2 more people after Lynn about different options and then finally someone who took an exit review interview. It then takes me an additional 20 minutes with the receptionist to book our 2 adventures and get our day pass for the resort. We did receive it all, but it was false pretense.

The day pass was more of a two hour pass with all the time it took to get past the "timeshare presentation" and our schedule for the first adventure at 230.
The lagoon was great the staff were friendly and I'd be glad to stay there. I was really hoping for something other than a timeshare meeting, but that's exactly what it was.

Don't let the adventure salesmen fool you in town and the stores, they are selling a time share presentation with some adventures afterwords that you have already paid for. "Fractional ownership" is another, not even cleverly disguised, word for time share presentation.

Overall the resort was great. The creative tales you are told to get you there are not. Yes you get a cheap rate on the adventures, but beware, there is the additional cost of your time and stress incurred by the presentation. It wasn't high pressure but it also wasn't over in 90 minutes or even 2 hours, it took around 3 hours from the start to a when we were allowed to enjoy our day pass and have our excursions booked.

I have no doubt Diamante resort will be great for anyone who stays there. The lagoon was amazing, the pools were kid friendly and clean, there was a plethora of lifeguards, and we did thoroughly enjoy our 2 hours there.

Met at course by disinterested staff in shoddy little golf shop/office. Over US$200 to play. No attempt to join people up into groups. No map or directions where to go. Two temporary greens in play with no notice well short of regulation greens. Temp greens about 4 meters diameter!! Strong smell from effluent irrigation in some places. Tees and greens in shocking condition. No clubhouse or facilities.
DO NOT PLAY - they don't deserve your money.

Service was excellent, I could not have asked for better. Each time he book an excursion for us it was excellent. He responds almost immediately and I love the fact that he uses What's App.
