- kweldon61Armada, MI186 contributionsVery short boat trip, you could easily rent a kayak if you were inclined. You can see most of it from the Office Pub area. Has acouple beaches you could drop off at and a big rock the Sea Lions perch on. You could ride right next to them. Also grab some bread for the tropical Fish in that area!Written 21 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Nicole GParis, France4 contributionsLovely beach for swimming with kids. Showers and bathrooms very clean. Chairs and umbrellas easily available. Lots of locals so it feels less touristy but bring water and snacks as absolutely nothing available thereWritten 25 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dansker58San Francisco, CA438 contributionsGreat place to walk and enjoy the atmosphere. The sand is soft. Lots of easy access to the beach. There are lots of restaurants on the beach offering shade and great views. Ther are a lot of vendors walking by but if this annoys you best not to engage. Chairs can also be rented for a beach experience. Very clean.Written 12 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - cannonaterSalt Lake City, UT1,563 contributionsOf all the action… many food choices and options are available as you stroll the marina and people watch. Probably take 30 minutes to walk the whole place. Lots of beautiful boats.Written 17 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - martitaCalifornia4 contributionsIt was a good experience visiting playa del amor (love’s beach) but it is only good for a couple hours at most and for taking some pictures, there is really not much to do there i could call it a short and sweet experienceWritten 3 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tinaNtravelSan Jose, CA2,011 contributionsThis beach is in a cove about 20 minutes north of Cabo. We took an Uber. The beach has a bathroom and an outside shower to rinse off, near the parking lot. Bring shoes, as the beach is very large/long and is mostly a rock/pebble beach. Near and in the water is soft sand rather than rocks. It seems this is a place for boats from Cabo to stop – as when we first arrived, 4-5 boats were anchored offshore. There are also a couple of hotels in the area with seats on the beach for their guests. A few of us went snorkeling near the rocks on the side of the cove and it was fantastic. In addition to a lot of fish, they saw a manta ray and a Morey eel. We left in the evening – and I was wondering how long we would have to wait for an Uber ride back to Cabo. To my surprise an Uber was there in 1 minute.Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- LightPacker389592San Antonio, TX46 contributionsWay better than I expected! Easy hike , rewarded w spectacular views. You can definitely go as a family- lots kids maybe 8-10 and up. Plenty of time to soak in the views at the top. The guide is quirky, passionate and lays out the rules clearly at the beginning.
No advantage getting there early. 15-20$ 30 min Uber from nobu. Rec los claros for lunch at the marina- delicious ! Go on this hike!Written 23 February 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The guys on the beach are very helpful to get you and off the boats!Written 16 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tinaNtravelSan Jose, CA2,011 contributionsWe stopped here twice because the snorkeling is amazing. There are a ton of fish, especially near the rock itself that is just off shore. There were a number of people climbing Pelican Rock and jumping into the ocean as well. The beach itself has a lot of large rocks and so it isn’t the place to sit on the beach – but instead, to be in the water. A number of tours can take you to Pelican Rock and pick you up again. The first time, we took Santiago Tours for $20 per person. They were one of the many vendors selling tours on Medano Beach. The second time, we took Cabo San Lucas Tours for $19 per person which included snorkel equipment. Both tours took us first to the arch and around Lover’s/Divorce beaches and then dropped us off at our choice, which was Pelican Rock. We picked the time we wanted to be picked up and, in both cases, the boat returned, on time.Written 16 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Andy V2 contributionsMy first liveaboard experience was to Socorro in the Revillagigedo Archipelago on the Nautilus Adventure’s Belle Amie out of Cabo San Lucas. I was out there to see big fauna -- manta rays, dolphins, and sharks – and the trip certainly delivered. Beyond that, I was extraordinarily impressed with the ship and the crew. The Belle Amie is a 147 foot boat with a spacious top deck (deck chairs for the sun and stargazing plus a hot tub) and plentiful room in the shared living spaces and dining area. The trip out to the archipelago takes 1.5 days out so the extra room is a wonderful asset. Also, on my trip, the ocean had a bit of swell at times so I was thankful for the boat size. My stateroom had a comfy bed and a private shower. But, what really impressed me was the crew, who worked tirelessly to make us comfortable on the trip. Food started before our first dive at 7 am, and we were welcomed on the dive deck before and after our dives with Gatorade/water to rehydrate. The food was great. I frankly was blown away by the dive masters who motored around before we woke and into the evening getting our tanks etc. set for our 4x/day dives and who seemed impervious to the nitrogen loading that started to slow me down by week’s end. A heads-up to the diver that you will be diving a fair bit at depth, so being nitrox certified is urged, and there can be strong current and surge, so I was thankful to have 100 dives under my belt to manage my bottom times at depth. I thank the Belle Amie crew for a wonderful time – I’d go back in a heartbeat!Written 2 January 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sam F2 contributionsI reallllly enjoyed relaxing here. Cool view and vibe! It was pretty empty, from 7 am -10:30 am. Lots of local guys tried to engage with me - friendly enough, but by the 10th one in 10 mins, as I left. I was getting annoyed. I doubt this would have happened if I wasn’t alone, but I’m alone because… that’s what I want. All safe feeling - just many people wanting to chat. Maybe good if you want thatWritten 24 June 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- WorldTravelers34Chicago, IL2,469 contributionsMy wife and I went fishing for a full day during a recent visit to Cabo. We went on “Top Gun”, a 33-foot cruiser. We were on the cruiser from 8:00am until 4:00pm. It was really great sightseeing, fishing, and just relaxing on the water. We caught five nice sized fish, including a 23-pound Amber Jack and a 21-pound Rooster Fish. Unfortunately, we did not catch any Marlin. Perhaps next time.Written 31 January 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
