He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also had a friendly driver and the van was spacious, clean and air conditioned. The roads are windy throughout the entire island! If you are prone to getting car sick, I suggest taking something before hand. Delvin does such an amazing job of showing you so many things that other tours do not you really get a differnet view of the local culture. We had an amazing breakfast, our best on the island, visited the rum distillery, had an incredible lunch provided by none other than Delvin's mom, at her house, visited a local farm and sampled so many things and had a great tour with the owners, so many things it was a full day for sure. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a more real experience. Delvin was very knowledgable in all areas of the history of the island and was just a pleasure to spend the day with. Thanks for a great intro to St Lucia and our week spent there. - Jeff LVail, CO2 contributionsThe team was excellent -- a highlight of our trip. Had a wonderful day, even if it did torrential rain on us a few times. Titus was terrific and gave a great tour with a lot of details about the island.
This is THE ONLY WAY TO DO THIS TRIP. With your family at your own pace. Enjoy as little or as much of each stop as you like. Really special and wonderful.
The costs were a bit off on the extras -- so bring enough cash (All US$):
- $3/pp to dock at Soufriere
- $40 taxi to Mud baths
- $9-$10/pp Admission fee for Mud baths
- $5-$6/pp Waterfalls
- Tips for driver, Tips for Cliff Jumpers
- $15-$20/pp Lunch (which we ate on the boat -- it was fine, not great)
A few additional notes:
- Take your time at mud bath -- if there's a big crowd, wait they will likely clear out. The baths are nice when its quiet and feel free to enjoy and relax, don't feel like you only can do the bath once -- go ahead and reapply the mud. Also there are 4 BATHS, coldest at the bottom, and hottest at the top. We liked the top best (still only 100 degrees).
- The waterfall isn't just to look at, but to go in/under and IT'S A HOT WATERFALL. Very cool and not like anything I've ever experienced elsewhere. There are also 2-3 baths there -- so take your towels with you.
- Bring snacks, the tour includes plently of drinks (my wife loved the rum punch), but no snacks -- and in 6-7 hours especially with kids, you'll get hungry.
- The snorkeling was great and their equipment is first-class. You get two places to snorkel or you can walk the beach. We ended up with the rain getting dessert at the second stop (some banana splits and cheesecake - $15US/each, so be prepared -- but well worth it)

One day is devoted to a private island tour. We use private service for two purposes. One is total flexibility to see what we want to see and the ability to change the plan on the fly. The second is to find an engaging and interesting local that can provide some deep insight into the culture and life of that individual island. We found the absolute gold mine in meeting our needs in Naomi. My wife was ill that day and did not join in so it became four+ hours of Naomi and I in the car together talking and touring. At no point did the conversation lag and she provided fascinating descriptions of life on the island, her own life (she needs to write a book on that part) and gave me a true perspective on how little we, as American's, truly understand or care to understand about other cultures and countries. The actual tour was perfect as we went only to the sites I requested and I was able to spend as much or as little time there as needed (the benefit of a private tour). I gave her a time frame for return (dinner reservations) and she met all the goals. If you want a small tour company with totally individualized service to create a tour of your liking, use this tour. You will love Naomi and I believe that her other drivers all share her same dedication to providing a perfect day. The entire crew was so welcoming and attentive throughout the cruise. There was something for all of our guests to enjoy and was truly an unforgettable experience. We were able to watch sunset from the boat, enjoy some delicious snacks and rum punch, and then danced the night away! He accomodated our 2 year old daughter bringing a car seat and was very thoughtful of her needs. My mom and I had never rode a horse before, but Keith made us feel so comfortable. We all learned so much about how to ride and control the horses. The ride was pretty intense - lots of up’s and downs, rocks, mud, but was totally worth it!! It was beautiful and we learned so much about the island and the area. When we arrived at the beach, Keith climbed a coconut tree and got us all coconuts to enjoy. We rode for about 2 hours and then Andre and his son took us to the beautiful waterfall. We had a blast! I loved that we had a private transfer to and from the place and the entire ride and waterfall was private as well.
