When talking about our cruise, Ocean World Adventure Park is the crowning jewel of excursions. Our kids absolutely loved it here and so did my wife and I.
+ There is an enclosed beach with some water slides and an inflatable obstacle course.
+Lifeguards are everywhere and life jackets are available for all guests.
+The bird exhibit was SO MUCH FUN. The bird were landing on us and eating the included food. Some of our favorite photos from the entire trip are from the birds exhibit.
+The drinks for the adults are reasonably priced and well made.
+The seal show was so much fun and the kids loved seeing the animals.
+The food court served tasty food and was reasonably priced.
+There are no negatives about this location. It was pretty much perfect!

If you are travelling with kids then this is an outstanding excursion! A perfect place to spend the day!

Great day at the water park. The kiddos and my husband really enjoyed the slides even though they were rough we went back a second time. Buffet was pretty good there as well.

One of four stops during our 8 day Carnival Cruise. The waterpark and pools at Amber Cove make for a relaxing day for all ages. We rented two umbrellas and got two waterslide passes for our kids. (About $70) The lazy river and pools are clean and well kept. Us adults loved the swim up bar and attentive service by all staff. Restaurants on site from hotdogs to seafood. A little something for everyone.

They have water sports activities for extra $$ or rent a private poolside cabana or one over the water.

The shopping at Amber Cove offers something for everyone from souvenirs to diamonds and rum. The property is spotless, no beggars and we felt perfectly safe the entire time we were there.

Overall a big thumbs up and a great way to spend the day!

The go karts are tire and in need of love, but it's still lots of fun and the price is reasonable. Kids will enjoy it.

Loved it, once they got their attractions going, but we had to wait over an hour after opening for many of the slides and attractions to open. In addition, some of the attractions require you to be totally dry, which seems odd for a water park, so bring a change of clothes if you want your children to enjoy all the park has to offer. A lot of fun once they wake up, but no fun waiting.

After touring the island, we went to cool off at the pool, where there was a water slide, zip lining and opportunities to go snorkeling or water skiing. The weather was gorgeous and the shops were exquisite! Lots of of opportunity to take photos, watch the natives perform and play music. I also had my passport stamped too.

I went with my husband, they had an special and we decided to visit it and see how it was before we went with the small ones in the family. Even though the place is a little secluded from the city, the car ride was worth it, we had a lot of fun in all the different water slides that the place has to offer. Although as you move through the day the place becomes less clean, and more over crowded, looking more like a bar than a family friendly venue. Safety was an issue, you couldn´t leave your bag and belongings alone for the fear that someone might steal something from you, there were no security guards but only in the parking lot, and inside we had to pay the lifeguard to watch our things. They had a cafeteria with some food, but we did not try it, also they sold some beverages, including beer, which made the place more of a colmado than a water amusement park. It was fun for us that one day, but we haven´t come back yet.

This is like a little mechanical fair for little kids, where they can have a really good time in a well controlled and safe place.
This place is near Jumbo which is a huge department store and also there are a lot of fast food options within the same building.

Great place to relax and enjoy some fun activities especially if you have a late flight going back home and still want to enjoy the day! Jorge was great explaining all the park has to offer and very pleasant to speak too.

Water in pool was dirty with massive amounts of dead insects. Water was same quality in all pools. The waiter was nice pricing is reasonable. Kids liked riding the tubes.

We went there on XMas day (Dec 25th) with the (Dominican) family of my wife. I'd expected it to be crowded but actually there were few visitors.
The water is quite nice fresh and cooler than the sea. The area has quite a lot of trees so we got very little sunlight exposure. Entrance fee was only 50 pesos per person. You can order some simple food from a waiter that will deliver it at your seat. Overall the place is nothing fancy but still an interesting experience. And of course expect some local music to be played.

We went on the eXtreme excursion, get set and ready for an adventurous fun filled day of horseback riding, zip lining, and water falls. It was invigorating and a blast.
