- alexanderhammer2018Harderwijk, The Netherlands40 contributionsGood experience, you need to have a pick-up or off-road buggy for this trip. Take enough cold drinks, water and food to last the day. There will be no shops of restaurants nearby. This is a tropical desert landscape where you can see some indigenous wildlife. Take some lights with you when you go in to the cave. It’s a small cave bud with lots of small bats. The nicest part of this trip is that you probable will see no one else. In case of an emergency, you can use your mobile phone. The trip can take about two to six hours, depending on the route you will take. The routes are not market. Use google maps (Download the map of Bonaire so you can use Maps without using any mobile data) use the satellite modes and you will see the routes which are all sandy roads.Written 6 September 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Marjolijn Nieuwkoop7 contributionsWhat a wonderful special experience! One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in Bonaire! Thank you Tama for guiding us, your help and your patience. But also for the nice explanation and sharing your knowledge about the caves. It exceeded our expectations! - Edward SElizabeth25 contributionsNice dive site with easy entry and light currents. When the dive is over you can stop at the beach bar and have a cocktailWritten 9 December 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Shelly K CCozumel3 contributionsMy husband and I did the Cave Tour 1 with Dirk from Cave Tours Bonaire. It was excellent and totally worth the time and money. Dirk put safety first and did an excellent job at coaching us step by step through navigating the caves safely. He had lots of interesting information to share about the history and geography of the caves. The best part was the underwater swim to the "secret" cave - even though I was hesitant at first - it was totally worth it! I totally recommend this tour and Dirk.Written 1 July 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Danny BBury St. Edmunds, UK668 contributionsWe did an afternoon tripple cave visit, and it was quite an experience. It is important to take it slowly and watch all body parts as the rocks are sharp and spiky.
Our first cave was as hot as a sauna and sweat, which was literally poured down my face, but the decent to the last cave was the most adventurous only to be awarded with a cave dive! Swimming with a torch and snorkelling to see the underwater world, what an experience!Written 14 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
