- Sabina RNew York City, NY1 contributionFirst, the island was a great experience, but it was not fully all-inclusive because there was a natural juices vendor that was an extra cost. There should’ve also been information on the site regarding the additional $100 for a separate section of the beach because “all-inclusive” would mean just that - having access to the entire beach; so that was annoying. I’m sure someone will say it was on the site but I read all of the descriptions and that additional $100 was not listed. The bus situation needs to be more organized. If you’re not going to have the buses labeled (e.g. bus A, B, C etc), then at least have all the buses arrive at the same time for pick-up, so that there aren’t 10-15 minute wait time in-between pick-up.

Seating on the netting looked fun too. The rope swing was a blast. The first stop near the shipwreck was a little tougher but the second stop in shallower water was easy and fun. Good for kids. - Emily T3 contributionsWe greatly enjoyed our ride! It was about 9am to 1pm total. The crew was super nice and friendly! The open bar was nice and the food was decent. We stopped at a coral reef, a ship wreck, and some shallow spot where turtles hang out, we did see two! There was just enough seats for everyone on board but a lot of people sat on the front of the boat so that cleared up some space to move around. They did had a mens and womans restroom on board but they are a little awkward. All around a perfect trip! Everything was flawless. I was picked up on time at my hotel each time and everything was smooth sailing from there.
The Red Sail woman, I think her name was Ivy, was friendly and thorough. my scuba captain was Karl both times, he was superb. Saw sunken vessel, turtles, lots of fish, some sponges and coral. Lunch provided was much better than we’ve had before on sail/snorkel trips. Although we didn't get the Private Catamaran we wanted, we were able to get a private boat for our sunset cruise. Captain Lex and his 1st mate Jose were excellent and made the trip for us. The snorkeling was very good, but the rope swing was the best time we had on the whole vacation. Then you head to the pool for quick underwater session. Finally your off to the ocean. It was a great experience. I would recommend that you have at least snorkeled a few times, before attempting discover diving. - CapriG7189 contributionsMy wife and I were nervous because we'd never been snorkeling or diving at all, or even swam too far out into the water before. But after a minute or two we got used to the Seabob and how helpful it actually was and with the addition of the wetsuit, we felt safe and our guide Jesus made sure we were comfortable. It didn't take long after that to realize this would be the most fun adventure we've EVER done. HIGHLY recommend for EVERYONE!!!!!!! They will transport you to and from anywhere on the island.
The dive masters were extremely accommodating, fun, informative and responsible.
We saw a number of wrecks ( the Antilla is a must-see), barracuda, sting-rays, along with a large variety of other fish.
