We were on a family cruise, Royal Caribbean Mariner of The Seas, that included seven teenagers. We all wanted to do something together that was fun and be able to enjoy the beauty of the water/ocean. We did this as a self excursion outside of what Royal Caribbean offered and arranged our own transportation via Kini Kini Transfer and Tours who were great. The banana boat rides and the water slides were a big hit. Snorkeling was good, however, the water assigned to snorkel was shallow. Life jackets, goggles and shoes were provided. We were disappointed in the beach. It was a small area, very rocky so it hurt your feet and made it not as enjoyable. I would definitely take water shoes with you. A recommendation to the management of De Palm is to clear an area to be free of the rocks or build a walkway for visitors to go over the rocks into the ocean to make a better experience. Flamingo hours were limited to decrease stress on them (11am-2pm) but we got to enjoy them and get pictures. Drinks and food were included. in our admission fee. Adult drinks were refreshing. There were two separate areas to get food. One side had hot dogs, hamburgers and the other had salads, soups, fish ect.
