The road going to the parking lot is extremely beat up and the hike is straight up a hill. It’s a very memorable and rewarding trip, however.

Partway up the hill is a small gazebo with a spinning arrow in the ceiling. You spin the arrow and it will land on two numbers. Those numbers represent the two Buddhist sayings relevant to you. There are 150 numbered sayings on various boards posted along the hike to the temple.

The temple itself is a little underwhelming and pretty new. I was told that it was built in 2011. There is small separate building to the left of the temple that is dedicated to a famous person who achieved enlightenment through meditation.

While the temple is fairly ordinary the journey is quite interesting and very memorable.

    Recommended.

Outstanding experience from start to finish, Pujee was such a lovely host (and great cook!). Went out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. The ger camp is off the beaten path, on a hillside facing a forest all to yourself, and the ger itself was traditional in nature (read beds and stove) but super comfortable. I was initially uncertain what to expect for a ger camp that is relatively close to the city, but the location was in the middle of pristine nature. HIGHLY recommend this trip, even only to stay one night or two, especially if you have tight timelines and can't travel very far into the countryside. If I have the chance to come back to Mongolia, I will go there again!

I had great flight with Allie over The Terelj National Park with an incredible view over the valley. Weather was balanced and landing safety briefing. We took off early morning for 1 hour that I didn't notice duration actually. Because this trip is one of my bucket list. I was really happy and unbelievable whole time. I am excited You gave me big opportunity. Don't afraid Fly with Allie and Donna Marie.
