Thank you very much to the masanovic family for the wine tasting experience. Not only was the wine delicious but the whole tour was very informative and historically interesting. For me this is a must visit for anyone staying in Virpazar. We were able to arrange our wine tasting the night before and they were very helpful.

Difficult to came in and be carreful of people came on you to help you to park your car and sell their tickets for a price more expensive than when you are in the place of the village, but the tour in boat of 2 hours is good to be done.

The family owning this old winery was very friendly, welcoming and most flexible when planning our visit. We are grateful for the response we got. We mailed an inquiry with short notice and got an immediate positive answer.
The visit was very interesting with deep information about the family history when owning this wineyard since 300 yrs and about the different wines they produced. We really appreciated both the wine tasting and the whole visit.

We have to thank our tour guide for explaining the relevance of the memorial at the end of the bridge. The plaques are in the local language so were not immediately recognised as to what the memorial stood for. It is a simple tribute to all those from the local area who fought and fell against the Nazis.

Driving to this winery was picturesque and rustic. I came alone and 2 large dogs welcomed me:). The owner who moved from Moscow to this part of the world I thought was slightly suspicious of me being there alone trying his wine.
I found his property very cozy, cute and I loved Vranac and Port wine produced here. I’m usually not a huge fan of Vranac but this one was full bodied and you could taste that it was kept in oak barrels.
They have a home produced honey as well.
It’s amazing history of this place and I wish I found out more about the past and present of this place!
    Hope to go back.

The old fountain is a nice detail. Still, the environment can be more tidy. It's worth a visit as part of a walk in Virpazar.

Great day with Petar! He was so responsive and helped us plan a fantastic day in Virpazar, took us to a great lunch spot and planned our boat trip. His English was also brilliant. Would highly recommend!

Golden Frog is an exceptional and wonderful service that provides kayaking services and touring services. Really shows off the beauty of Skadar lake and the occasional swimming cow

This was an excellent trip for all involved in Albania. We are a family of 4 with 2 adventurous/energetic girls (10 and 11). We did the Montenegro trip 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed both. Ben was great throughout the booking. Our tour leader Aldo was also great and accommodating to our needs/goals. Everyday was an exciting adventure and never a dull moment. We learnt so much on the culture and loved the cuisine. Next stop the Kosovo trip!

We booked with Boat Milica for a 3 hour trip onto Lake Skadar, specifically for bird watching. We booked in advance via e-mail (highly advise that you do this!) and communication (in English) was excellent and prompt, with good advice to arrive earlier than we had originally planned. The boat was well maintained and comfortable and Ivan, our boatman, was friendly and helpful and made sure that we saw the birds I was hoping to see - you aren't going to seem that many species but the number of each on the lake is spectacular!. The only small niggle is the amount of plastic polution that there was - unfortunately Montenegro doesn't have a recycling policy!
Our three hour trip, which includeda stop to walk up to Vranina Church, passed in no time and we wished we had booked for longer.
If you are planning a trip on Lake Skadar, and it is well worth it even if you aren't a bird watcher, then Boat Milica should be your number one choice - they get 5 stars from most customers for a reason!
Note that they only take cash - and parking in Virpazar where the are based is a nightmare any time after 8.00

We had the fortune to cross paths with Viktor. He was extremely nice and he showed us one of the best spots in Montenegro.
