What travellers are saying
- Philippe3 contributionsSuperb reef - great for night diving - Quiet and usually not as crowded as Manza. Lots of underwater life, turtles, nudibranch and variety of fish. Recommended if you are AOW or above.Written 10 April 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- BUGI_70Florence, Italy2,430 contributionsAmazing beach. Close to Manza beach. We parked at Manza beach parking which costs 1000¥. No restaurants or bars but there are some vending machines for drinks and ice creams. Water sports at the marina. Toilets, changing rooms and showers for free. You can also rent sun beds.Written 28 April 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DDD999Hong Kong1,215 contributionsPart of the ANA Intercontinental Resort, this ocean park has floaties of 3 different levels for children of different ages.
Two things worth mentioning - the sand and pebbles are quite rough in certain areas, and there is a entrance fee for everyone playing the facilities.Written 6 October 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Dinner was very disappointing, especially for the price, and then they added a 12% service charge on top of the already high price. Would I stay there again? Probably. Would I eat there again? Not a chance.Written 14 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Igor KSt. Petersburg, Russia109 contributionsVery nice, but sea is not deep which makes almost impossible to swim in low tide. But very quite and calm. You can lay on your sheet under palm shadowsWritten 10 June 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KGB777Singapore, Singapore41,257 contributionsThe water here was just so clear that I had to go for a swim, despite it being pretty cold in early May in the water. Not much in the way of facilities but you can combine a visit here with the cake shop and make use of the parking facilities. I was amazed by just how clear the water was.Written 2 June 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Bridget GDubai, United Arab Emirates16 contributionsNot sure how others found "raked, white sand beaches". This was not it. Picked up tons of debris from the beach and impossible to walk on beach without shoes due to amount of coral. Didn't look at all maintained. But if you want natural beach plus human detritus, this is the one for you.Written 30 March 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SP1_1971Airmont, NY103 contributionsFirst off, we did not stay at the hotel so we had to pay $50USD to park, entry for 2 people, an umbrella and 2 chairs. In order to get the umbrella/chairs , I had to sit and wait for the attendant who was on what appeared to be a personal call for 10-15 minutes without even being acknowledged. When she finally acknowledged me, the price was different than what the beach attendant told me so I had to go get more money and then go wait on line again. I, personally, do not have any tattoos but my wife was forced to wear a shirt and patches to cover up her tattoos. Meanwhile, there were other people on the beach who had tattoos including one person who was reprimanded for trying to use a snorkel but not forced to cover her tattoos. I saw at least 2 people reprimanded for trying to use a snorkel. Not sure what the reasoning is got that one. The beach was better than the other local beach (larger and less rocky-although pretty rocky) we tried out but it was not great. The tattoo policy is simply outdated. We’re obviously not in the Japanese mafia.Written 16 July 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Vince25 contributionsImadomari Beach is a quiet spot with clear water and soft sand. It’s good for snorkelling, but their aren’t that many fish compared to other Okinawa beaches. The beach is never crowded. However, there is only one renting shop nearby and none on the beach, so plan to bring your own stuff. Also, the sand is covered with pieces of dead coral and little crabs always walk around so no good place for umbrellas and towels.Written 22 October 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ramon FPapillion, NE20 contributionsWe were recommended by the management staff at Banyon Tree Golf Course at Kadena AFB to experience PGM Grand, Onna. Despite some of the damage Typhoon Trammi caused, the golf course was in very good condition. The challenging course layout and beautiful views were outstanding. The course staff and employees were very professional and friendly. The restaurant and food was excellent with an option to eat outside and view the evening sunset after golf.
Overall and excellent experience and I highly recommend PGM Grand Onna.
Special thanks to Mr. Hikaru Matsuo for assisting our reservation in English and for personally welcoming us to the golf course. He was very professional and friendly. I'm looking forward to another visit soon.
Cheers,
