- WeHa 98Aschaffenburg, Germany247 contributionsI have done this trip years ago and am very pleased to have done it again today. The view from this location is truly spectacular and well worth seeing. I was concerned about the amount of people in the cable car as it was impossible to social distance.Written 1 January 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- tnsilvertipSouth Pittsburg160 contributionsRode the Aurora winter train from Anchorage to Fairbanks in February. Lots of snow outside but warm in the train cars. Not fast but we got there, about a 13-14 hour ride. You can bring your own food and drink on the train which only had a snack/pizza bar open in the club car. Couldn't get a seat in the club car but took our food back to our seats. Scenery is fantastic and seeing moose running through the belly deep snow was great. The fascinating thing about the trip is the flag stop service. Something like 50 miles of wilderness with no roads. You can wave a flag at the conductor and they'll stop and let you off right there. When you want to go back, go to the tracks and wave a flag at the approaching train and they'll stop to pick you up. Great service. Seats are reserved, follow the directions on the website. There is checked baggage service on the Anchorage/Fairbanks route. Train runs north on Saturday, south on Sunday. Well worth the time and money.Written 24 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Irene FSpringfield, MO33 contributionsThe Gathering Place abounds with all kinds of activities for children. There are swings and slides, rope bridges to climb on, miniature zip lines. Some of the areas are specific for children of certain ages. For adults it is a great lace to walk and enjoy thenparksetting and the landscaping.nWritten 16 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sameer MaheshwariNew Delhi, India28 contributionsLovely godly place. The route is highly scenic with snow clad mountains in front of you with a magnificent lake just ahead. Lake is considered holy and you are not allowed to go near the lake. You can also enjoy Yak ride there.Written 26 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- DKenn29Atlanta, GA26 contributionsTheater of the Sea is a great half-day visit. The dolphin, parrot and sea lion shows were fantastic with lots of information and a really close up view of the animals. We also did the meet the sea lion encounter which we loved! This was the highlight of our trip to the Florida keys for our teenage daughter. Great staff and nice facility.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Verne KSilver Spring, MD370 contributionsWe really enjoyed our excursion, which was postponed one day because of fire threat by the National Forest Service. The initial several miles were urban & suburban (blah), but then it became really interesting. We sat in the back car with a large outdoor platform. The Cascade Canyon portion was fantastic. Silverton, not so much. The trip reminded me of the White Pass & Yukon trip in Alaska.Written 25 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Howard WWetherby, UK174 contributionsThis is a must try experience. The train has panoramic windows to allow full views of the spectacular scenery. As it winds its way up the side of the mountain, the temperature drops outside and near the top we travelled through snow and ice covered lakes. There is a refreshments trolley which also sells souvenirs. The train is clean and comfortable.Written 19 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RealWelshAleMonroe, GA89 contributionsAlthough somewhat expensive at $135 a person for a 25 mile return train ride, I am glad we did this excursion. The scenery was fantastic for the upper 13 miles. As most say the views on the left side up and right side down are best but the train does a loop at the top so you get both sides even if you don't change seats. I spent most of the time on the outside carriage platform where the views are great, although best in the last rear car. If on a cruise, the boarding location is at the end of the dock by a small cafe and was not well sign posted so we initially missed this and had to ask around. Have to admire the gold rush prospectors who took these routes over the mountain pass in the Yukon. Out of our cruise port stops of Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau, Skagway was by far the best place, just more interesting and scenic, but still touristy and geared to the cruise lines visitors.Written 23 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Exploring since 87Wolverhampton, UK56 contributionsAbsolutely loved it!! As avid escape room fans we loved the look of this when we spotted it. Completed prison break in a group of 4. Brilliant concept, staff were excellent! We came 2nd which we were pleased with! Think a couple of parts could be tweaked or bonus marks added etc to mix it up a bit. Would definitely recommend this though! Will look at the other activities they have there. A high price tag so would need to be a special occasion I’m sure.Written 22 May 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
